fun night out

by deborah s.

I went for the first time about a month ago. I took my granddaughter who is two but had a really good time. I am sorry for the negative postings i have seen here. It is a kid based place and they do a great job of providing variety to all ages of kids. The food was decent. Severall choices of pizz and other items. I really enjoyed our time and took lots of memorable pictures of the granddaughter on the train and winning her little prizes. I found the place well worth the money and I am taking her again tonight. There was no comparison to Chucki Cheese the overall enviroment was so much more pleasant......thanks for providing a fun evening of eats and games for na na , papa and grandbaby!

There are better

by Charles K.

Incredible Pizza is like a bigger Chuck E. Cheese -- bigger entertainment, and bigger prices to go along with it. For the price, you *might* consider Dave & Busters as Dan D. suggests -- especially if your kids are starting to outgrow Chuck E. Cheese.

Reading through these reviews, I can only guess that the food was better in previous years. The food there in 2009 is worse than CiCis... most kids probably don't mind, since they'll just inhale the pizza before running off to the games :), but this parent would've appreciated some other better choices too.

If you're going to hold a party there, call ahead and find out when the off-hours are. If the party gets scheduled during peak hours, your child's friends will spend most of the "party" standing in the go-kart line. Whee!

Thanks to the company for responding to even the negative reviews on this site. It's good to know that they're listening to their customers.

Lastly: at our most recent birthday party at IP we had a couple of parents who were offended by the Christian symbolism in the restaurant. We're Christians and appreciate the environment, but there you are. I'm sure that for every story like this there are 10 from a Hazel or Tracy who will go out of their way to give IP business, and that's wonderful... but, if you're thinking of holding a birthday party there, you might feel out the other parents first.

Not the best family entertainment

by Dan D. | insider Insider | Rank: 20,169

Skip this place and head down the street to Dave & Buster's.

D&B's has family dining, and a more updated game room. You don't get ripped off at the prize counter there either.

Its a much better value than this place, and the food is 10 times better.

interesting reading

by Celia C.

I went to look for some coupons with no luck. Our son is autistic, and we so he can play - it is an expensive eat out for those who only eat one meal. but i have seen lots of wasted food so i guess for the price that takes care of it. I don't know what the solution is. One thing i have noticed is the kids are seeming to be more undressed and more of a pick up place at an early age. Kinda scary with what goes on in the dark play area. Not great for our children whom don't understand or go there to play and not wait on older kids hogging the games or just hanging out. Maybe there should be a designated time or dates for those older kids or maybe a designated day for the kiddos in wheelchairs.

Big place but very odd...

by Bill S. | insider Insider | Rank: 28,499

I'm honestly at a loss as to how this place stays in business.

They claim to be a Pizza buffet first and foremost, but their buffet cost twice as much as CiCi's, and is actually lower quality.

No one is going there specifically for lunch or dinner. IPC is kidding themselves if they think otherwise. People go there for the mix of both the games and the food.

They use a card system for the midway games that leaves odd amounts left over that cannot be redeemed on the games... kind of a ploy to take your money or demand that you spend more.

And they offer little value at the prize counter. Wednesdays, however, the games are half price and only then do we see some respect payed to the consumer.

All in all, a very odd set-up, when you throw in the mix of a Christian Theme. Is it really a Christian place?? Tulsa is a great spot for such a marketing ploy... but is that what I smell here??

I also find it somewhat polarizing that every customer review on this site has a response tagged below it. These reviews are for customers to chat with one another about a business, are they not?

How many people work for this business, cleaning up all the bad word of mouth that it garners?

Since they like to put Bible verses up on that big flashing billboard, I'll leave one for everyone here to ponder...

Mathew 6:2
So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.

Come on folks what gives?

by Hazel M.

I love the atmosphere and food. If a person cannot tell by the posters on the wall and the attitude of the employees that this is a Christian atmosphere, they are atheists. I take my girls and grandkids every chance we get. The food is great and the place is safe and fun. Great for the $. Go to another pizza place and pay almost as much for kids to play video games and listen to rap and loud music and be offended by their clothing and behaviors. We drive over 35 miles one way, and very much worth it.

Great food and atmosphere

by cheryl s.

This place is great for families. In response to a previous poster, there are plenty of places to go with or without children that have a completely unchristian messages, so if you have a problem with a plastic bracelet with a Jesus fish...take your kids to the movies or let them watch TV or take them to the mall or let them go through a wal-mart check out line or any of the 100s of choices. This place is clean, safe, has good food, and is fun....and eeeek...yes, has a Christian atmosphere.

Great Family Fun

by Tracy B.

This place is great. My children love it and I love the fact that it is a fun, safe, Christian atmosphere. Sure there are kids running around. This place is for kids...a place for kids to run around and have fun. I have read some of the other reviews and, as a Christian, can tolerate other people's opinions and love them as I am supposed to do. I do not however, have to like those opinions. As Christians, we need to stand up for what we believe in and do our best to make sure places like this remain open for us to enjoy and not have to worry about someone abducting our kids or brainwashing them with some sort of smut propaganda. Keep up the good work Incredibles!!!

Not so Incredible...

Lametacular. I have to buy a buffet and deal with some person's crazy children running around swiping tickets. I was unimpressed and wanted my money/time back.

IT STINKS! THE WALMART OF ARCADES!

Thank you for your comments, it sounds like someone wasn’t being a good parent on your visit to Incredible Pizza…our kids do have a wonderful time at Incredible Pizza, we’re sorry you didn’t have a good experience. If you spoke to a manager, they would very eagerly refund your money if you had a bad experience. We are a buffet style restaurant with entertainment. Much like when you buy a buffet to eat at Ryan’s or Golden Corral, we also charge for a buffet to enter our establishment.

Disappointed

by Anonymous

I can't believe that you cannot enter the establishment without buying a buffet or leaving your driver's liscense or car keys with the employees desk. This is when you are bringing in your children, having a BD party or whatever. If you don't buy a buffet card you are required to put on a wrist band (no problem with that) but you also must leave your ID or car keys as some kind of warped collateral. In this day and age of identity theft you'd think they would understand that no one wants to leave these items. Today I was there with 30 other people - just wanted a coke - went back to the front to pay for one - THEY CAUGHT ME -akckckckckckck - I was in there without buying a buffet or leaving my identity at the counter - so rather than be blackmailed into buying an $11.00 buffet - or leaving my identify with unknown employees' persons - I'm missing my grandaughter's 4th BD party. Some establishment. What gives? How on earth could leaving my identify protect these children when I'm there with a very large group of people. None of them had to leave their ID - as long as they paid $11.00. BTW - some of them slipped in with me before I was CAUGHT - O! My! - the sky is falling.

Bad Experience... replied on 01/13/09
Thank you for your comments. It sounds like you had a bad experience. Which location are you referring to? Most of our establishments don’t require what you are describing. We are working on solutions to answer your concerns, so your opinion and insight is valuable. You would be shocked how many wristbands we find in the trash cans in bathrooms, so people can cheat the system and eat our delicious buffet. Most of our store managers are trained to deal with situations like you describe. If you’ll email the store you had a challenge at under our comments section on the website www.incrediblepizza.com/comments.php, we will do our best to make it up to you.

Brainwashing station

by Anonymous

Everything is good with this place until you get to the games.. and then you and your unknowing kids are hit with Christian propoganda prizes, videos, etc. Nowhere does this organization say they are Christian on the doors, sign, website, etc. The entire point is to get you in and make you fat and happy and then push their religion on you and your unsuspecting and impressionable kids. This is underhanded and unacceptable. I forgot to mention the completely tasteless numbering of "9/11" on one of the go karts. Apparently this is the same in the OKC location as well. Whose idiodic idea was that, Rudy Giuliani??? Come on!

Christian Based Business replied on 01/13/09
We were sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy yourself on your visit to Incredible Pizza. Yes, we are a Christian based business, so the "fish" symbol that is so often associated with Christianity is on a few things. We do not mean to push our religion on you. We were merely trying to show that our establishment is a fun, safe place to take your kids. Your opinion does matter to us. If there's something you think we could do better. Please feel free to contact us. You can fill out our online comments form at: www.incrediblepizza.com/comments.php or call us at our complaint hotline: 417-890-1408 ext. 18

Christian Atmosphere

by JOHN L. | insider Insider | Rank: 31,308

I have been to the Incredible Pizza on Memorial Ave several times, and I have taken our grandsons there too. They love the food, but especially the games they can enjoy after eating. I go there because of the great prices and excellent salad bar and large variety of pizza. I'm going back often.

NEATO!

by Cheryl R. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 6,223

We went there as a family. Just to try it out. Oh my goodness the food was so good. I have been to a lot of pizza buffet's, but this one is the best. So much to choose from. They kept it stocked. We didnt get to play the games, but we went over to check out. Oh my! Only if my son's was older. We would be all over that place.

WOW!

by Jenifer E. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,118

This place really is incredible. Loads of fun!! Bumper cars, go carts, arcade games a area for toddlers to play. They have a tasty buffet pizza, pasta, salad and dessert. They have like 4 dining areas. One had a movie playing, the other has had a cartoon playing, then there was a quiet fmaily dining and they had one area that was like 60's dining which was really cool. You have to check out this place! We went to the new one in Oklahoma City I couldn't find the address for it though.
