I don't know who everyone is talking about but i thought that the salesman working there was so sweet. he had dreadlocks and his name is alex. he was brilliant i thought and everytime i've been there i've bought something i love for an okay price. i think your standards are too high.

The place is over priced. Very few people can bring themselves to spend $75 on a pink polyester dress from the 80s..

The salesman however, is so nasty! I dont care what that dude was on...I said No Thanks to that pink poly dress and he yelled and cursed me out! haha, so odd. And then he cursed more, thinking/calling me an effing tourist cause I was holding an Old Navy bag. Anyway, I just go to the Andy's right up the block on Broadway now just to avoid this guy..=)

Andy's is not my cup of tea. They have some decent vintage clothes and new ones, but the prices are high. I haven't had the urge to buy anything the couple of times I've been there. You're better off going to a Goodwill Thrift Shop or a Salvation Army Store. They have a lot more to offer.

Oh come on. What did you expect? A thousand t-shirts, 20 leather jackets, a handful of dresses and two dashikis -- all overpriced and ready to go. It's St. Mark's, for crying out loud! The salespeople are bored, the customers are drunk, and on occasion you'll find the perfect shirt for your cousin back in Idaho. And you will buy it, without shame. Oh, and it's too brightly lit. My eyes!

PROS: location
CONS: pricey

This place has cool vintage leather jackets, rock tees and full business suits for sale at New York prices. Though there is an occasional find here, I don't think their clothing is quite extraordinary enough to charge these high prices.

They also sell some new clothes but best to steer clear of this place and find another vintage shop.
