The WORST dealer, do not go here, unless of course you enjoy being lied to, verbally and physically abused, wait around forever, only to get your car back, with the work they needed to do, not done.
Kevin Gaither and Sandy Skees, you both are the worst customer service reps I've met in my life. You really ought to be fired, both of you!
Depsite having an oil change done on warranty, the oil light came back on within 50 miles of my oil change. I was told to come back in, get another oil change... WTF?! They don't value your time, and they are very RUDE!

Join me at: http://www.stevenscreekbmwsucks.com to submit your revie there, and every single bad review will be personally hand delivered to BMW north america, and eventually the owners of SCBMW.

Never go to this dealership for service!!!

I had a very bad experience with them. The service staff are rude, arrogant and not helpful at all. All they want is your money and overcharge you. I used to be ripped off by this dealer more than $15000 for repair, however, the car(740il) was still as bad as before, and each time I complained they pointed out something else wrong to avoid the warranty.

So, that means either the mechanic are lousy or the car is not fixable. Actually, my car was not that old, about 9 years old, but this lousy dealer never did a good job on it, even if paying unbelievable cost.

Put it this way, if this car is not worth repair, why they never told me, so that I can go buy a new one? Instead, they cheated on me for high cost repair again & again.

You know what, end up I convinced my husband go to another car maker right at BMW's Stevens Creek Blvd. in San Jose.

Ha, ha, ha.......

In fact, I do not want to give any star for this dealership, if there is choice, they are just too bad...

This is the least recommended place to repair your BMW.
Only to get diagnostic took me over a night.
The guy in charge was just keep talking to sell the overestimated repair and just not listen to me.
At last, he said $600 only for a battery replacement and $900 dollers for engine pulley and belt replacement and some more.
That was just rediculous and waist of time.

No comment on service, but a seriously great car buying experience start to finish.

My wife and I are having our first child and needed something a bit bigger to make up for all the baby stuff. I have to say that I wasn't looking forward to the new car buying process -- yuk! But from top to bottom it was exceptional. Seriously, like it was great.

The single most important thing was that the SCBMW guys listened to what I asked. For instance, I asked them to respond in email -- they did that. I asked them not to go through the whole 'back and forth' and just tell me what I needed to knwo --they did that. I asked questions on the phone and they got back to me quickly. It was super.

I shopped around (quite a bit, in fact) and the Steven's Creek guys were the only ones who didn't pull the whole standard "you gotta buy right now" stuff. They just gave me a great price right out of the gate, and then took the rest of the time answering questions -- not trying to put me into a different car, not trying to sell me other stuff -- just answering the questions that I asked. I mean, it was like seriously that good.

In particular, Franco Karzag who sold us the car, was an easy-going, "how can I help" type guy. And then, when we came in, the manager (Paul Carruba) was also great. When we went to the finance person he was the same way: "here's the extras: want anything? OK, cool"

I kept waiting for the situation to go bad but it never did. So I'd recommend checking them out. Really great experience....

Pros: Friendly, direct, no-BS, unexpectedly simple

Cons: None

My wife told me not to shop there, but I did not listen. After getting a demo and quote from them I decided to buy from another dealer because they had a better price. The salesperson from Stevens Creek BMW reacted to the news by sending me this sarcastic email: "I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to "for free" spend time demonstrating and giving you figures to use as leverage to purchase elsewhere. I makes my heart sing with joy."

I did not buy my BMW from this place, however it was towed there because apparently it was the closest to my home. there was a problem with the tire senors, my car was dropped off there at around 8am, i called to check in on it, they said it would be a while before they got a report, I called around 1pm still no report, Karina a service advisor called me back, at 5:30 pm to tell me that there were nails in my back tires and that i should go ahead and replace all four since the front tires were worn, and they can do an alignment, I said i guess i don't really have a choice. (the tires had less than 10,000 miles on them)
The next Am I called the Dealer I bought the car from, they were absolutely Awesome( Fremont BMW)
they were very proactive in trying to make thins right, they offered to tow my car there at their expense, give me loaner, aligh the tires, they tried repeatedly to get the car from Stevens Creek Bmw, but they said I would have to pay for the tires they ordered for my car, So now they are holding my car Randsome unless I pay a restocking fee for something they ordered , i would like to add that I have never stepped foot at this lot or signed any work orders/contracts with this dealer.!! It's a Scam!!!

This place has the worst customer service ! have ever experienced!

my car was towed to the nearest dealer and they were it, they said

care needed major repairs when really it was something simple.

They will not return my car to me unless a agree to pay for the parts

they ordered for my Car. I have no loaner and no Car !!!! I have the right to refuse to have my car serviced at a place that misled me to believe I needed all this extra work done. The dealer I bought my car from tried to handle the situation appropriately, but Stevens Creek Bmw says they are keeping my car unless I come up with some Cash. Very dishonest people !!! be WAre

The only reason they get 1 star is because that is the minimum I can give. I visited this store on FIVE separate occasions, and not once was I helped. The sixth time, I came with my hubby, and had four sales folks descend on us immediately.

Each time I came in, I came in well-dressed, driving a BMW X5. The first time, I had to ask some older, out-of-shape balding man (stuffing his face with a bag of chips) if he worked there. His reply, as he continued not looking at me was, "yeah." Great welcome. Another time, I came in a with a printout - less than one hour old - that stated that they had a 5-series (used) wagon in stock. When I finally cornered some other unhappily-employeed employee, he told me - without looking at my printout from THEIR website - that "Nope" the car wasn't there.

I have never had to work so hard to get a sales person to speak to me. So what did I do? I went next door, to Infinity, where they treated me with kindness and respect. They still do - and I've owned the car for over a year now.

Here's the most astounding bit. After I got my new Infinity, I walked back over to BMW - still with my husband - and asked to speak to the general manager. When I told him of my experiences with his personnel, he was completely unfazed. He obviously didn't care that they just lost out on a $50,000 sale. Wow.

I will never, ever purchase or service a vehicle through them, and strongly encourage everyone to go buy an Infinity. They accelerate and brake just as well as a BMW, they look as stylish, and the people treat you decently - from sales to service. I've never been happier with my car purchase decision.

Stevens Creek BMW is a JOKE! When buying my vehicle they were great, I was impressed with the attentiveness of the staff etc.... then come the issues. The parts dept/Service dept have the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I had to order a replacement key for my vehicle, the person on the phone stated that I could bring in my insurance card to retrieve the key, AND that it would be fine if my wife were to get it provided she is on the insurance. I sent her to get the key and they informed her that she NEEDED to have the registration card to get the key, so she went to the DMV stood in line for 45min got the reg card and came back to the dealer. Then they stated SORRY, you still cant get the key because you were not the person who requested the key copy! We live 45min away and they were not apologetic in the least for wasting an entire day jerking us around to get a copy of this key. The staff in the parts department was downright rude to my wife! Its one thing to require certain documentation to get a copy of a key, all I ask is they get their story straight on what is needed and at very least, be polite to my wife.
Terrible experience after spending $42k on a car.

My experience with owning BMW was terrible. They are very expensive to maintain and service. When I had to have the engine overhauled because there was carbon buildup, I had decided to get rid of my X5. BMW service told me that some tiny (3 mm diameter) ports in the engine were clogged with carbon. They told me this wasn't their problem and it happened because I put low quality gas in the car. If name brand, premium gas is low quality, then I am not sure where I was supposed to buy gas. When I had them do the work, I went in and looked at the engine all torn apart. I talked to the technician that was performing the work. He told me they saw a lot of this happening to their cars. He said it was because I wasn't driving the car hard enough. So because I didn't gun the engine off stoplights and on the freeway, I had to have $12,000 (negoitated down to $7000) worth of work done on a car with 48,000 miles on it.I will never buy BMW again.

I dont think i should open my mouth to praise the beamers. what i liked about this place was the huge inventory this place has and the very competitive prices they had put in. what i liked even more was the fact that the salesman was not at all pushy. he gave us our space. all they wanted to do was make a deal to get us the car that we so liked. great ambience and great customer service, people who DO wanna make a deal for me. however no great cars with navigation

PROS: great inventory, great customer service
CONS: GPS ready BMW inventory was just not there

I have had very good experience with Stevens Creek BMW. They always treat me with respect and deliver on time. I am always offered a BMW loaner as well. Their work is good, and they have always fixed any problems that I may have had. Their recent impotents to the dealership are very accomodating as well.

My BMW only had 16,000 miles on it when I had a major engine failure. The car was out of warranty, but it still shouldn't have failed with so few miles on it. These guys wouldn't budge an inch to help cover the costs. So let the buyer beware--they don't stand behind their product...at least not when it really matters. This is my last BMW from Steven's Creek!
