Delicious Thai food! The portions are heaping and taste really really good. My favorite part was the ice cream. Try the green tea ice cream--very delcious. That being said, I heard that one of the desserts, the one labeled "traditional thai dessert," is the best thing there. Off the beaten path of Central Square but if you can find it and get in (they get crowded) you won't be sorry.

Pepper Sky's is tucked into a corner next to Central Square, and serves a consistent middle of the road Thai food. I recently went here with a group of 6 MIT grad students who frequent this and other area thai joints. The waitress seated us promptly and handed each 2 menus, which at first was difficult to figure out, since they were both about the same length and variety. I opted for classic pad thai and my fellow diners got a variety of noodle and curry dishes that while in the same price range, varied in size. The food tasted good but lacked a bit of finesse, which is typical for many thai places in the area. Id come back and try some more dishes but will likely pass by only if I happen to be the area.

Pros: Classic thai choices, some interesting specials

Cons: Spotty service, confusing menu

Compared to most thai places, the food was pretty on par with the rest. The service however, I felt was lacking. My water did not get refilled the whole meal, and they also forgot to bring out our appetizer. The place wasn't even packed when I was there. It was a little disappointing

I practically live off of the food at Pepper Sky's - it is first rate Thai at fraction of the price.

If you are a fan of the famous Brown Sugers, this is owned by the same family. It's a smaller menu (thank goodness) but the food is just as spectacular if not better (more flavorful).

I highly recommend the Jade Noodle (which I dare say is dramatically better than the already spectacular original at Brown Sugar), as well as the Honey Grill Pork and the Pad See Ew. The spring rolls are always delicious and the soups will sure to warm up your winter.

The decor isn't as classy as the Brown Sugar, but you simply can't beat the food. Can't say enough good things about this place.

A very homey but somewhat modern environment tucked away from busy Mass Av. It has good quality Thai dishes, especially in the Cambridge area. A convenient location and friendly waitstaff keep me going back. The drawback is that its selection of dishes tends to be limited.

Pros: Good Thai food, homey ambience, convenient location

Cons: Limited selection on menu, not for large crowd

This is my neighborhood joint... my roommates and I go there at least 3 times a week, and our friends from Boston would T in just to go to Pepper's. The owners are fantastic people, the food is to die for, all at a price that can't be beat.

Pros: food, price, service

Served in a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The drunken noodles are spicy and delicious and less than $10 bucks!

Located just off of Central Square in Cambridge, Pepper Sky's Thai Sensation is the area's newest Thai restaurant. It seems to be doing pretty well and is always packed when I go there. This is probably because the restaurant is incredibly small. It is located next to Rangzen Tibet. It has nice decor with red walls covered by the art work of a local artist (looks sort of like Chagall).

Food is good too!
