Sure, when you walk into the 'plaza' that hosts Wei Wei Palace it does smell like all sorts of asian foods. They have a market that sells lots of produce, meats and seafoods...so its not going to smell like roses, its not a flower shop! But when you walk into Wei Wei Palace they have fresh duck hanging with their juices flowing, and the taste, well, lets just say that I would drive from out of state for the duck alone. They have amazing dishes. Their prices are reasonable enough for a group or 6-8 to go and split different dishes and try new things. My friends and family have done this several times! It is NOT your everyday run of the mill Chinese restuarant. They don't serve pizza like some "chinese" buffets have. It is 100% chinese. If you have a real liking for great, oriental food. This is the place to go.

If you have ever walked down the street of Division, you would think you were in an Asian country. But thats a good thing, right? The Wei Wei Palace is fairly new - built within the last 3 years or so. There are restaurants & an oriental supermarket inside, with the usual bulletin boards cluttered with ads for Asian nail salons and candy machines. When I first walked in the place reeked of the smell of dirty diapers. Now, Ive never smelled that at other Asian market places so I dont know what was going on but needless to say I didnt spent too much time there.
