I went to Dr Robbins a few years back and my experience was the same, she was rude, cold, rough and money hungry. She diagnosed me with HPV before even giving me my exam... When she did give me my exam she took two chunks out of my cervix (EXTREMELY painful, I bled for almost a week) When we got the results back, she said "Just what I expected, we will have to operate immidately." She gave me these complete horror stories of the bad things that were going to happen to me if I didnt get this done asap. She scared the hell out of me so I scheduled it for the next day. She didn't discuss payment options that day... So when I came in the following day to get the procedure done, someone showed me to the room, I got undressed into the gown, the doctor came in and had me put my feet in stirups, and right as that happend she asked me if I had paid the 500 for surgery. I then told her no one has instructed me to do so. She said she would need the money for the surgery before she began... I was 20 at the time, lived on my own and worked two jobs, I told her that I did not have the money then, but I would make payments. She said that wasn't acceptable. She asked if I could borrow money or put it on a credit card, those were not options for me. So I got dressed and left. I was so put off by her that I didnt get a pap for 2 years, and when I did he gave me the same exam, took a chunk our of my cervix (which I didnt even feel, and no bleeding, AT ALL) and get this... I didnt even need that effing surgery. I would not reccomend Rhonda Robbins to ANYONE, not even my worst enemy-

I went to this doctor in 2003 and my impressions were the same as many of what I read in the reviews. I was visiting Vegas, we travel in a motorhome, and needed to see a doctor. She was listed as a participating doctor with my plan. I thought, since she was a female, she might be a better choice...HA! Not only was she abrupt and cold, she was downright scary. She frightened me to death about my health. I agree that bedside manner shouldn't be a prerequisite for good care...I know that because I went to an excellent gastroenterologist who didn't have the best bedside manner...however, this Doctor's manner and demeanor is really uncalled for. I am truly amazed that 4 years later the feedback is still the same on her!

This doctor has very bad bedside manners. She is curt and rude, and doesn't seem to care about a patient's lifestyle that may contribute to anything you might have beyond reading whatever you may write on your patient history form. She didn't make me feel comfortable at all, and didn't even make an effort to do so, which to me is mandatory for an exam that's inherently uncomfortable and awkward for a patient. I've felt way more comfortable with MALE gynecologists, as counterintuitive as that may sound.

This office sets multiple appointments at the same time, so be prepared for a wait. I was in the waiting room for over 45 minutes, sat in the exam room alone for 15 minutes, all for a brief exam wherein I felt highly uncomfortable, and she left me so upset that my fiance had to spend time with me at home making me feel better.

I do not recommend this doctor AT ALL. Find someone else!

I am new to the Las Vegas area and I was searching for a OBGYN. I have had endomeotrisis for years. I have been thru 4 surgeries and with this problem I was ready for the final one. I was in a lot of pain So I went to a male doctor here and he said yes you have a cyst and it needs to be removed. SO of course I went for a second opinion to Dr Robbins. I new I was in trouble at the counter. The girl asked me for $143.00 but I had insurance that was a $25.00 co-pay. She said Dr Robbins looked at my chart and said I had a pre exst condition (endo) and my insurance would not cover the visit. Even though my other Dr visits were covered with no problem. SO I paid it. I got in the room and she didn't introduce herself or anything she just sat down and said "I don't know what you want me to do?" I said "Your job, your a doctor". She said yes but your insurance doesn't cover a pre exst condt like endo so I can't help you there. I said what are you talking about I have been treated for this for years and no problem. She said well I can't do anything. So she proceeded to do an exam. I asked why she said because I think you have an infection. I said my other doctor would have found that last week but she continued anyway. She said yep it's an infection. I said you can tell that by feeling around. She nodded her head and wrote me two antibiotics. I never filled them, I new better. I have had this condition for five years. She made it very clear to me that she wouldn't operate because my insurance wouldn't cover it and she was not going to go another step. Even though I knew my insurance would cover it if she would have just called. Dr Robbins didn't even check for the cyst, she didn't do a scan. She just did a pelvic exam and when I told her it hurt on the right side, which is the side the cyst was on she just kept on pressing. I got home and within 2 hours I was pouring blood and had to be rushed to the emergency room. I needed surgery and this woman was so concerned with money she didn't even call my insurance to ask about the coverage she just assumed. I would never in my life set foot back in this office. She made me very uncomfortable and she was just plain rood. She was more interested in the exam than actually helping me. She is in this business for herself not to help patients and it shows. Anyone who would go to her for help is crazy. I had my surgery done by my first doctor Dr Swainston. He said a cyst had ruptured and due to all the pain from the endo I had a hystorectomy.I would never ever in my life go back to Dr Robbins. She is terribly rood and money hungry.

I went to Dr. Robbins a little over a year ago for my annual checkup and pap. Her bedside manner was very cold and rude. She spoke to me as if I were an idiot and she acted as if she was in a rush to get through the day. When I asked about birth control she gave an annoyed sigh and asked me which type I wanted. It was my understanding that doctors would actually discuss which BC is the right one for you. Another doctor that was in the room had to step in and actually help me because he saw how rude she was being. She also recorded everything on a tape recorder which seemed weird to do while I was in the room.
After a week of not hearing from her office, I called and asked for my results. The nurse said that all went well and see you in a year.
One year later I was asked by another doctor to obtain the results of my pap from Dr. Robbins' office. When I called to get the results, the nurse acted really weird and asked if they could call me back. They did not call me back until the next day when they informed me that THEY DID NOT RECEIVE THE RESULTS FOR MY PAP UNTIL I CALLED THEM ONE YEAR LATER! To make matters worse the results were abnormal. So all this time I could have been getting sicker because they DID NOT DO THEIR JOB!
This was the worst experiance that I have ever had! She was rude and acted as if I was wasting her time by asking her questions. I do not want anyone to have to go through this so I am posting this review in hopes that you will save yourself the frustration of dealing with her.

I wanted a female OBGYN, so I chose her from my list. I think she is a fine doctor, but has bad bedside manners. She is very blunt and direct, so it comes across kind of cold. She is also kind of rough. She is definitely not the warm fuzzy feeling kind of doctor, but she gets the job done.

Dr. Robbins deliverd my premature baby nine years ago and she was very cold and abrupt. She told my husband to choose which of us he wanted to go with, the baby or me, and told him the baby had a better chance than me of making it. She was not very comforting or kind at all.

When I first moved to Las Vegas I found Dr. Robbins in my network provider list. I wanted a female doctor but after visiting her office I changed doctors. She did not make me feel comfortable in her office. Her office did not even process my insurance claim correctly and I ended up paying extra money out of my pocket.

Dr. Robbins did not make me feel comfortable. She was very quiet and short. I felt as if she didn't want to answer any questions. Which is important as a female doctor.
