Circuit City

I was trying to order a computer game for my son that another Circuit City was out of. Althought the store had the game in stock I had to call several times to talk to someone who could actually help me and sent the game to my house.

The service at Circuit City's Fire Dog station is completely awful! Purchasing Circuit City's computer warranty is completely pointless- As a non-paying customer, you can bet your computer will be worked on last. In addition, you need to back up all your data in case they need work on your computer. Data can be saved, it is simply an EASIER job for the employee to start from scratch. With the right amount of money, they will save your data. So what is the point of purchasing a warranty? The warranty only works for hardware - which for most cases your computer has to be sent out to the service center. After my computer was at Circuit City for 4 weeks.. (First week my computer was not even looked at, 2nd week when they decided to run the diagnostic exam they realized the disk drive wasn't reading properly and had to order the part. The 3rd week they spent time installing it. I picked it up the 4th week.).. anyways, after 4 weeks my computer was not only returned filthy, but the mouse key was broken. It has now been over 3 weeks that my computer is at their service center. So in total, Circuit City has had my computer for almost two months AND to TOP it all off, the employees at Circuit City Fire Dog rarely answer the telephone. After a few phone calls, the employees just transfer my call to voicemail- they can't even walk to the firedog station and inform them that a customer has a quesiton, they can't even ask me to hold until someone can help me. Instead, I have to travel to the store to ask them a question!

Circuit City is conveniently located, has extended hours and the store is never so crowded that you can't find competent sales help. My first choice when looking for any type of electronic product plus a great selection of videos too.
