Upon hunting for a perfect piece for my office. I found it here. Great selection of unique pieces. If you have something specific in mind this is the place to go. Pricing is also very reasonable and in this economy that is a BIG PLUS! Thanks guys & girls!Would be happier if you had a website where I could shop on line. Highly recommend this store for anyone in the market for good quality, well constructed, solid wood furniture at really good prices. Have been a loyal customer for 3.5 years (since I moved into the area), and have been very pleased with the quality of their furniture, its durability, but most notably the customer service of this store. My wife and I have bought our end tables, entertainment center, and most recently, a Curio cabinet from their store. All are beautiful pieces that we regularly get compliments on, and all were great deals from this store.

The employees are friendly, patient (they don't "sell" you the furniture -- it sells itself practically), and more than willing to answer any question you may have. They have all the "little" touches to make buying there easy -- e.g., the basket of tape measures they keep on the desk to make it easy to grab and measure anything you're looking at.

If you add up great customer service, good quality solid wood furniture (not the easiest thing to find anymore!), you understand why this place is a "must visit" for anyone looking for wood furniture in Hampton Roads.

Good Wood has a wide selction of solid wood furniture at very reasonable prices. FOr those of you that are handy, you can get it unfinished and stain/paint it yourself or those of you like me... can have them stain it for you and then they even deliver or you can pick it up.

Goodwood has a very good selection of finished and unfinished wood furniture. Their pieces are very beautiful and of high quality, which means the prices are high, but they still have good deals considering the quality. The service is always good, and although the furniture really crowds the showroom, the atmosphere is still pleasant.
