After meeting they school coordinator Yvonne, I had my second thoughts of enrolling my daughter in this school. She represents a very heavy authority from the old school and not a flexible personality, which looks a little intimidating, she has also mentioned she teach kids as well. I was kind of hoping of loving and caring environment, plus the enrollment fee and material fee are very high.

I enrolled my daughter in this preschool when she was 3 yr old. She was very shy and, considering that we didn't speak English at home, we were quite concerned with the problems she would have adjusting in the new environment. But Connie supported us, gave us advices, she was so patient, and so knowladgeable! And one of the best features of this school is that parents can observe their children from the observation room adiacent to the classroom. (there is a mirror window and headphones, and the possibility to switch to different areas of the classroom to hear what is happening there.) For concerned parents as myself- this feature was a life saving! At first, when I was leaving the class, my daughter will cry, clinging to me. I thought she will be misserable for the whole 3 hours! but, from the observation room I was able to see how she was comforted and helped by Connie, Yvonne and Carrie. By the way- the class is about 20, but there are 2 teachers, at least one teacher assistant, volunteers from the community (as Granma Sherlly, Grandpa Al) and Connie (who's the site coordinator, but rarely you can find her in her office, she is always in one of the two clasrooms, or in the observation room, or talking with concerned parents, comforting them, as well as their children). And being a community college program, it is affordable.

PROS: large classrooms, large yard with lots of activities, best teachers
CONS: small class sizes, only two classes, you have to enroll very early
