I had come down with bronchitis that turned into pneumonia. I went there because it was a Sunday. They saw me right away. They gave me injections of antibiotics and steroid, and Rx for more. They also gave me a breathing treatment. They did X-rays and other tests, right there in the office. In a few days they had me back for a recheck to see how I was doing. They monitored me very well. I have a regular MD but don't need him. I have the neighborhood doctor. No appointment. Open late and on weekends. Holidays. Very convenient and highly professional. They also have a medical institute, my daughter is attending. This is a great opportunity for her. It's a wonderful business, i can't think of enough good things to say. I'm very pleased all around.

I had to take my son here cause his normal doctors office I couldnt get him in to. The where very nice to us from the moment we walked into the door. The girl who took us back was very nice she talked to my son who is 4 years old and not just to me. They listened to our reason of why we were there and didnt rush us. We did not see the doctor but he might as well of been one. He was great. My son calls him Doctor but he said he was an Physicians Assistant. I will be returning here. They where there when I needed them .

the service was outstanding staff was top notch...was in and out in no time...the new hours at their so cooper location is from 7am to 11pm and really helped out... I was in at 10:30 pm and the staff was not trying to rush me out the door....very welcoming....insurance was a breeze...i dont understand the other reviews about insurance and making you pay up front...but if i owned a business and couldnt verify if your plan existed i would expect you to pay also....I mean you dont walk into any other business in the world and expect to recieve services for free.... and if you do your not living in reality...all in all GREAT!!!!!!

I have been going to Dr Wilkerson since moving to Arlington 10 years ago. I have always been satisfied with the care that I have received and always find Dr Wilkerson to be kind, caring and professional. I like them so much that I will be taking my daughter there now that she is too old for a pediatrician.

Any and every time I have went to this facility they have been very pleasant and helpful, especially Dr. Wilkerson. I am in and out in a reasonable time and the diagnosis and medicine prescribed gets me better within the next day. I would recommend them highly.

Just this week we had a coworker fall and hurt her knees so bad she had to be carried to the car. We were so busy at work things were getting hectic but we called the neighborhood doctor and Dr. wilkerson was able to work her in immeadiately, which was much appreciated. The doctor was able to see her and prescribe anti-imflammatory meds along with a pain med to calm her until the swelling went down. Our co-worker is doing much better now and thanks to Dr. Wilkerson for taking us as a walk-in basis. Many people don't realize how much extra work the staff has to go through in order to "just work someone in". When the staff is willing to do this, it is great.

I was referred to this doctor over a month ago and generally my friends have always been very good about the referrals they pass along to me and others. This one was defenitely a miss. From the onset of my initial contact with the staff, I realized that my visit may be that of a difficult one. Contact with Dr. Wilkerson was less than pleasant. She was cold, rude and condescending. Secondly, It was a holiday and my benefits office was closed and my benefits coulndt be verified so I was made to pay an upfront office visit fee and for all of my labwork. A total of $289.00. This upset me as I felt that they could've easily waited until the morning to confirm benefits but the staff on the Dr's instruction chose the higher road instead, leaving me to file a claim for reimbursement with my insurance co. I complied but vouch never to return to that office.

I had a staph infection and was re-infected which is potentially fatal. This clinic repeatedly misdiagnosed me (via a physician's assistant), ordered tests (that I had to pay for that weren't related to my condition, merely to prevent a malpractice lawsuit) and in the end I had to go in three times, be on I.V (which should have been avoided in the first place) and had multiple major problems due to this. One nurse there was fabulous- the others all seemed confused, the doctor was more concerned with protecting herself than with my condition, and overall, I was very dissappointed. My "real" doctor is in Houston and this was a temporary one while I was here in Arlington, and I can't wait to get back!

the one on north collins have way way better doctors than south cooper locations. dr. wilkerson at the cooper locations is condescending and a bit of a witch (subtract the w and add the capital b). She was rushing me out and is my believe a liar. For instance, she prescribed chantix ( a stop smoking pill) I asked her how much this drug would cost. When she said that she didn't know, I believe that was a big fat lie. Doctors at the very least know the price range of the drugs they prescribe. this prescription was 140.00 at walmart. I've had plenty of doctors prescribe me or my kids (when we weren't insured) an antibiotic that was on the lower end of the price line (yet still effective). Also, since the reason I was there was respiratory problems, that were more than likely due to smoking, she was very judgemental and treated me like I was a drugged out heroin attack without a brain. also, when I asked her questions that she believed she already addressed ( and maybe she did) she was very flip. I mean dang, I was trying to get a clear understanding of my condition and, if I had to ask her 4 times to accomplish that she should have been more than willing to explain it that many times. Right now, I am sick with a miserable kidney infection and without a doubt should have seen a doctor yesterday (sunday) but, disliked her so much that I'm waiting till later on the evening (monday) to go see one of the best doctors I've ever had at the n. collins local. I've seen a couple of different docs there and they have been absolutely wonderful. I however, what to add that all the other staff at the copper location were great. One last thing, I've read the other reviews and, someone mentioned that they don't except insurance and that you have to file your own(Im not sure how old that review was) yet, every time I have ever gone with insurance they have always always always taken my insurance. In summary the neighborhood doctor at the n. collins location is the bomb. the one on cooper sucks because of dr. wilkerson (yes, she's a woman. what a bad name she gives the rest of us women) which is a shame because the rest of the staff are top notch.

My husband went to this clinic and he said that he was pleased. His back went out, and they gave him the right kind of medicine in order to treat his condition.

This place has been great when I was very ill and couldn't get in to see my doctor that day. Very competent staff. Only bad thing is you have to pay cash up front and file your own insurance.
They always call you later to make sure you're doing ok.

PROS: there when you need them
CONS: don't take insurance

We have used this facility for several years for minor medical emergencies or when we needed a physician during the off-hours. "The Neighborhood Doctor" has always met our needs, and their staff is friendly. I would recommend them to anyone. Their staff has been with them for a long time also.

PROS: Location, Convenience, and Care Received
CONS: Haven't had any

When my kids were small The Neighborhood Dr was our family doctor. It seemed like every time they got sick it was after the operating hours of our regular doctor. So the staff their became like family. The hours were great and the doctors were the best.
