Encanto Park

Located pretty centrally in Phoenix is Encanto park. This place has been here for some time and is a great place for a picnic, to feed to ducks, or just play outside (just don't do it in the summer). Driving by on the outside you can see the trees and golf course but I was suprised at the lush vegetation and water areas here. The water at times has been murky and you wouldn't want to jump in, but is usually clean. I have rented paddle boats here in the past but that was a few years ago. Pretty good time if you visit here in a season other than mid summer.

This is a huge park in Phoenix with a lot of attractions. I like this park because there is something for the entire family to do here. They have everything from golfing, basketball, softball, racketball and so much more. It is a relaxing place to have a picnic with family. There is a lot of shade here so even during the hot summer it is a nice place to go in the late afternoon.
