Technically this park also contains the Phoenix Zoo and the Botanical Gardens, so that would make it a top park in town. You can hit all three to make a day of it for visitors. The rounded hills with the holes are like nothing else in town. We always take visitors to the Hole in the Rock. It's an impressive photo spot with view of town with a short trail up the back side for all abilities. The park also contains other hiking/biking trails, lagoons for fishing, and picnic areas. A pretty well rounded place.
PROS: Various things to do, photogenic scenery
CONS: Some litter in popular areas, maybe use buddy-system for restroom safety

This park is near downtown Phoenix. There is a lot of attractions at this park including fish lagoons, tons of hiking, a museum and so much more. This is a great Phoenix area attraction. You can spend an entire day here easily. This is a great place that has a lot of Arizona history built into it, it is great for people who live in the area as well as tourists.
