This is a neat little place in a cool location. You can get baked goods, coffee, smoothies, and sandwiches and sit at a little picnic table to enjoy it. Even better, buy something and take it down the street to the Berkeley Marina where you can enjoy a little better view. Baked goods here are great (most come individually wrapped in plastic so it's easy to take them somewhere), and sandwiches are even better! Try a shrimp or crab salad sandwich on fresh baked sourdough with fries.

If you want a nice big sandwich, go to Seabreeze. This place is a funky little shack in the intersection of University and the Berkeley marina. You will often find it packed to the gills with people of kinds enjoying their food and taking in the sea breeze. I think that's where the name came from. This is our "go to" place for a good sandwich. I lean toward their turkey and avocado or their tuna sandwich. My husband prefers their tune and swiss. Either way, you won't be disappointed. They also really good coconut macaroons. I love these because they are huge and part of it is dipped in chocolate. So good.
