While the prices are a little high it is definitely worth it. One of my favorites is the New England Clam Chowder. It is not as creamy as some of my other favorities but it is delicious in its own right. There should be more fish markets like this one!

Here's a place where you can purchase fish to make at home (though prices are a bit high) or sit a table for a bite. We've only had oysters at the bar which were great - dining at the tables seems a bit tight.

I am happy to say that we had a very enjoyable lunch this past saturday at wild edibles. I have been a patron of the fish market for years and decided to try the new format. The slightly odd yet delectable Oysters Rockefeller Pizza(yes pizza) was a fantastic starter. We followed this up with their skate dish and the ling vongole, both were tasty and good portions. Glad to have a good eats destination in the neighborhood.

Wild Edibles is a fish market that also prepares foods to go upon ordering. Even though it's fairly small they make some great seafood dishes and soup. I recently tried their New England Seafood Chowder and it was great. For anyone who loves seafood, they can prepare wraps and seafood burgers along with sides. Beware, since this is seafood it is pricey. The lobster rolls can go up to $30. The only downside I have ever seen from this place is the salads they serve as sides. I always have to make sure the vegetables are fresh. I was served wilting and rotting cucumbers and tomatoes, but took it back and given a fresher double sized one. This is the only thing to watch for though. I notice this a lot living in New York.
PROS: Great variety of seafood
CONS: Salads aren't always fresh
