Ratings_icons Falls Pain Management Center is helping people get their lives back!

Martha B.

I have been a patient with Falls Pain Managent Center for 4 years now. Dr. Bressi is my PM Doctor, but Dr. Geiger has done my "Blocks" Both Doctors I think highly of. After 12 years of Back problems, 2 Lumbar Fusions surgeries, nurmerous blocks, Physical Therapy, Medications, and so on, I finally found a place that actually listens to the symptoms you're having. I can honestly say that I would not be able to lead any kind of enjoyable life with my husband and children had I not found this Clinic. If you're not getting the treatment you know you should be then please make an appointment at this clinic. You owe it to yourself.

I am a new patient not only with Dr. Bressi & Cayahoga Falls PMC, but am new to the experience of being part of a pain clinic. After 40 or so years of dealing with on/off pains, I've exhausted every test imaginable, almost every med on the market, and the very first day I went there, everyone paid attention to me, unconditional attention, that still has me shell shocked. I'm praying for a miracle to come out of this clinic to figure out my medical puzzle, and with how well I did first visit with the sedated manipulation that in itself raised up my comfort level, and restore some of the trust in the medical field that no matter how many possible diagnosises get ruled out, this place has given me reason to believe, they will figure it out, and place me on the right road to recovery. There are those that take advantage of places like this for nonmedical reason, pushing out a spot for someone who is truly in need of pain management. I tried for years, to do things myself, figure out tricks and paths, to get around my pain, but I'm aging and it gets harder. There are those in this world blessed to tolerate pain at the highest levels imaginable, but yet there are those of us, who do at first tolerate to our best to get our needs tended, especially children, and household responsibilities. But if you wait too long like I did, things don't get better they get worse. I'm so looking forward to be pain free, or at least have it managed well enough for me to return to work someday, or maybe even school. I am an empty nester who at times has to crawl to the bathroom.. I'm only 47, and have no intention to give in to my body.. not yet.
Next to God, the doctors/staff at Cayahoga Falls PMC, I have been saved by once again, and hope has returned to my achy breaky body, trying to knock me down.. I feel as if I'm walking on pillows now, rather than rock...putting ones mind at ease, is the first step in the healing process of chronically acute pain syndrome.

One very blessed/hopeful patient..Sending blessing to the entire staff at CAYAHOGA FALLS PMC..

THANK YOU ALL FROM BOTTOM OF MY ACHY HEART. ( AND BACK)

Ratings_icons My Life Has Changed

Thanks to the doctors and staff here at CFGH/Summa Pain Mgmt. Center, my 3+ years of living with undiagnosed debilitating pain has been eased. I was only 42 when this all started - and I had so much pain I really wanted to die, just to end the physical suffering. I am still young yet, and am now living a wonderful, fulfilling, less-painful (tolerable pain) life. Every one of the people who work in this center from the doctors to the receptionists are to be commended - I have NEVER EVER experienced exceptional people like these and have never had the constant concern and quality care like I have received here. I am thankful for them every day that I feel like living - which is much more often these days! Thanks you, Cuyahoga Falls Pain Management Center Staff!!!

Ratings_icons Found my helper after 8 years of pain- by Maggie White

I love the Cuyahogafalls Hospital Pain Center. Most of all (Dr. Bressi). He was my first pain Dr. I saw at this hospital. I was happy with him from the first day I spoke to him. He and his associates have helped me alot whenever I call in .With no problem they take me in and try to calm my pains down.
I wish it was a large hospital so that I could give them all my business.
Dr. Smith and Angela have helped alot also. I never got the opportunity to meet the others but I'm sure they are good to.
I belong to the support group for RSD/chronic pain.Which Dr. Bressi has visited our summer picnic to meet us.Which I thought was very nice since they work so many long hours trying to control peoples pain.
You won't find me going anywhere else.
Thank You Dr. Bressi and associates for caring.
The only thing that I would want to change is to give more time with these Dr's. When your in alot of pain its hard to remember what you would like to discuss.

Ratings_icons Maybe I'm biased....

Mellanie R.

Because I just came from a pain management center in Massillon that was HORRIBLE, but I have been incredibly impressed by how care I've received at the Pain Management Center. I was never made to feel like a drug seeker. I was dealt with as an individual, and everyone has been just wonderful. Yes, they are having some growing pains, but I won't go ANYWHERE else.

Falls Pain Management Center is wonderful, everyone that I have met has a heart. Dr. Bressi is a highly trained physician, on my first visit, he discovered one of my problems within 2 minutes, one that my surgeon could not find. This division of the hospital is devoted to helping patients find ways to rid themselves of pain or helping patients learn to manage their pain and I thank God for them. I know that Falls Pain Management Center is growing and that things get a little confusing at times, but with growth you will have those things, we need to be understanding with their office staff, just as the doctors and staff are understanding with us. If you want help this is the place to go. GOD BLESS YOU ALL for choosing this profession, and doing it well.

Ratings_icons Helping patients get rid of or manage pain

Falls Pain Management Center is part of the Summa Health System in Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital. This division of the hospital is devoted to helping patients find ways to rid themselves of pain or helping patients learn to manage their pain. Two highly trained and esteemed physicians, Dr. Bressi and Dr. Geiger, see patients, perform medical procedures to reduce pain, and prescribe other treatments. There is also a large support staff of medical assistant doctors who help with routine patient appointments and many receptionists to help with scheduling, insurance details, and prescription pick-up. The procedures offered to patients are extensive and include epidural nerve shots, pressure point injections, and accupuncture.

The only problem with Falls Pain Management Center is that they are growing so fast and taking on so many new patients all the time that they sometimes have trouble fitting in appointments. Also, they are sometimes overwhelmed with so many phone calls during the day that it can take a long time to have someone return your phone call. But, someone is always available for emergencies.

PROS: Many kinds of treatment available, highly qualified doctors and staff
CONS: Sometimes very busy, difficult to fit appointments in
