4 Stars: Yummy (by diane h.)

Really tasty and cheap treat, and a local favorite. Many people that were locals of Maui come to Maui just to get some Guri Guri. It's like a sorbet or sherbert, but it has a milky taste. It's totally original and there is no way you can imitate a taste like this.

5 Stars: Guri! Guri! (by Desilee S.)

This has been the best ice-cream I've ever had! No one can beat this place. Ever since I was a little girl, this has been the place to go for a cool treat. Now I can take my children here and they can make their own memories. Prices are reasonable, ranging from $1 to $5, for 2-5 scoops. You can bring home a pint to enjoy some guri guri at home. Flavors available are strawberry and pineapple. Occasionally, they'll offer orange also. Because it is family owned and operated, you get to see the same friendly faces each time you go.

4 Stars: A cross between ice cream and sherbert? (by Mark M.)

Tasaka's Guri Guri is a MUST stop, where you will find a unique local flavor. This is not ice cream. Most people say it's like a cross between ice cream and sherbert. People just love it, and on hot days you will have to stand in line to get some.
