pacific green gourmet has the best selection of gourmet foods in this area. They have everything from specialty oils and sauces to salami es and cold-cut all natural meats. Come here to buy the specialty cooking supplies to make a wonderful meal at home. The produce is also much fresher than the produce at the big stores.I've never had a bad piece of fruit from this place. you get what you pay for.The staff is helpful and friendly.

I live a block away and feel so lucky. I've been coming since I lived in Brooklyn Heights 6 years ago. The food is always fresh and the selection is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Ive been shopping here for seven years, but after tonight I wont be going back. Im just so tired of the snotty girls who work the register. Theyre always snapping their gum and acting like theyre doing you a favor by allowing you to queue up to buy overpriced groceries. And tonight one of them scolded me for leaving some items on the counter near one of the closed registers when I went to go get some seltzer. I just walked out and told her to put them away herself.

The produce selection isnt as good as the grocer next to Key Food, the specialty items arent as diverse as Sahadis and the prices are far higher than both. This comes the week after I bought five ears of corn there, and three of them were rotten. Its too bad, because its so close to my apartment, but I wont be sad when Trader Joes puts Pacific Green out of business.

Modeled after Gourmet Garage and Garden of Eden, this much smaller market is completely unassuming and fresh. The vegetables and fruit are always appetizing and fresh, with surprisingly reasonable prices. Inside there are mostly organic products and fresh meat at the deli counter. There is also a huge, fantastic cheese table that really could suit any needs. A great stop on the way home before dinner.
