Chapman Volkswagen

Once Chapman sells you the car all customer service abruptly ends. I have been accused of causing everything that goes wrong with my VW by the unprofessional staff at Chapman's service department. Chapman VW is the only car dealership in the Valley of the Sun that will give your brand new car back dirtier than it was when you dropped it off for service. It is an ordeal to get my VW serviced for the most obvious manufacturers defects and I would never recommend Chapman to anyone except someone I really disliked. Taking your VW that is still under warranty to Chapman for service is a far worse experience than anyone should have to endure in a lifetime..

I did like these guys better then all the others I shopped at, that is why I bought here, but considering that I was paying cash the transaction took way, way too long. 3 hours+. I didn't even take it out for a test drive. I already knew what I wanted and they quoted me the best price. SO why it took soo long, I have no idea.

PROS: Best priced
CONS: Way too slow

I was treated with respect and trust when I showed up at Chapman VW. Many other dealers were reluctant to help me because I look young. The salespeople were very helpful in working out a deal that would suit me and finding the right model. They also let me take the car for a spin on my own, and even encouraged me to take it while we ate dinner and made our decision. The only negative was the finance department, who were a bit standoffish.
