I am from Indiana so I've been eating Schoops for many years. When they came to Vegas I was pretty happy about that! When they were in the back of the gas station it was just as good as I remember. Now that they have moved to the Antique mall they don't know how to cook the burgers like Schoop's is known for. Schoop's with the crispy edges. They once told me people complained that they are burnt, fine have a sign that tells people they are known for a crispy burger and they can ask not to have it crisp. Once again I am convinced Vegas people are just to stupid to go for anything good.

We went to Schoops because it was voted best hamburger in Las Vegas in the Las Vegas Review Journal. It must have been under different management at the time. We had a disappointing experience there--didn't get what we ordered, had to fight the flies for the food, long wait, and over heard an argument between owner and wife in parking lot on the way out. The food was so so--nothing to recommend to a friend. We wont' be going back--the people at the next table won't be returning either.

Schoops was one of the worst Burger places ever. I mean if you like sitting in a gas station and paying to much for a burnt burger, then you might enjoy it. I would not recomend eating here.
2This has got to be one of the most unassuming hamburger joints I've ever seen in my life, but Schoops has a lot of pride. I heard about this place, word of mouth and was told that certain nearby casino owners regularly ate there because the hamburgers were so good. It was a hard sell to get me there because how good could a burger be that's sold out the back of a gas station. Right off the bat this burger is far different than any you've ever seen or eaten. It kind of reminded me of the giant burgers my Mom use d to make. It was as good too. I still wasn't crazy about eating at a gas station, but it was a nice treat.
PROS: Lot of food for the money
CONS: Weird location
