This place is very expensive to get into and unless you REALLY love animals or you are staying at the Mirage then you might want to just got over to the Lion Habitat at MGM instead of spending over $15 to get in here. We even tried to find a discount for here but no success. In fact, the people at the entrance gate were rude when we asked. If you're going to go then you should come in the evening about 2 hours before closing. This way you will catch the last dolphin show and see the cats waking up. They get fed right after the habitat closes and they are up and pacing around about then. We also got to chat with one their handlers and he was very pleasant to talk to about that time.

Very educational and lots of fun. The grounds appear well kept and the animals seem well loved. This made for a very enjoyable afternoon when my wife and I visited. Our personal favorite was the elephant who just seemed not to have a care in the world. I highly recommend paying a visit if you can.

This attraction is a little pricey. If you go later in the day you can only see the dolphin attraction. I expected to see a show at the dolphin pool, but it is a training center instead, which it was neat to see them being trained. The Secret Garden was smaller then expected, but all the animals were magnificent creatures. A little hard to navigate with a stroller.

Loved the White Tigers and Lions and other animals in the Secret Garden. The Dolphin Habitat was superb. The animals all looked to be so well cared for and happy. Went on many school field trips here and hope to go on many more!

PROS: Beautiful setting at the Mirage Hotel
CONS: Just a bit pricey but worth it...........

The dolphins here are free toplay as they like, much like they do in the wild, it's and educational experience, if your looking for a show head on over to San Diego. But it is a fun afternoons worth, and I personally enjoyed seeing the animals not being showcased for once, and acting natural.

PROS: Educational
CONS:

I love talking my kids here. They like to watch the dolphins. They admission includes the secret garden too. You can walk through all the beautiful scenery. It is a fun time for all. They have so much here, it really is a good place to bring people when they come to town. They have the tigers, the volcano and the dolphin show. It really is worth a trip.

We took our son here for his second birthday because he loves animals. It was very disappointting. Most casino attraction have a locals or military discount but not here. Everyone had to pay full rate, $15 adult, $10 children. Once you get inside there are 3 dolphin areas with a couple of dolphins swimming around. The younger ones will show off for you once in a while. the back area contained about 7 animals: white lion, white tiger, snow leopard, black panther, cheetah, and an elephant. It was a real waste of money.

PROS: Dolphins.
CONS: Not enough animals, pricey, no local or military rates.

This area of the Mirage casino is unique and interesting. However, if you are looking for entertainment, you might look elsewhere. The dolphins are free to swim around and sometimes are playful. However, they don't put on performances. It can be a little tricky here for handicapped people. Lots of walking and stairs.

I was expecting to see more for my money that was there. The dolphins just swim around so don't expect any performances. There were about 10 animals that could be seen in 10 minutes.

This is one of my favorite places to take out of town visitors. You have to walk forever through the confusing hotel and casino to find the Secret Garden, but it's worth it. The admission price includes both the Secret Garden and the Dolphin Habitat. THe Secret Garden is a small zoo featuring Siegfried and Roy's beautiful animals. THe animals are rotated between their residences and the zoo so you never know who you are going to see. THe dolphins in the habitat do not put on a rehearsed show, but rather are free to interact with the visitors. They love to play catch with the kids. It's lots of fun. Just a little note: one of the tigers likes to pee on unsuspecting visitors. If you notice one too close to the fence, duck. He's not friendly, he's aiming!
