Overall I thought that they did a good job. There was a small issue with the price that they quoted me compared to what it was when we got there, but overall very generous and courteous.

This was my first time buying a car and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service I recieved from the people at Mike McGrath's. Josh Froiland answered all questions I could come up with and I felt really worked hard to ensure that the experience of buying a new car was a good one, had everything ready to go both when I was test driving and then when I came back to purchase. Ironically, the Ford dealership in Mt Vernon, where I also looked, asked about McGraths customer service, saying they had heard complaints. McGraths however was far superior to the service I got at the Ford dealership in terms of being thurough, informative, professional, and friendly, and also in terms of working to balance cost, needs and wants.

My only complaint was with the financing department as an error was made on the financing--I left thinking my payments were going to be one thing and even with a cosigner, they ended up being higher than stated. This error also required several additional phone calls and a courier to bring new papers to sign for the redrawn finance papers. Even with this, I would purchase another car from McGraths in a heartbeat and strongly recommend it to others.

My husband and I decided it was time to trade in our van and I was looking for a reliable vehicle. We test drove various cars to narrow down my choice. My heart was on a Dodge Charge until I found out they were RWD then it was back to the drawing board! After a lot of research I decided I wanted a Malibu MAXX. We searched a lot of lots on Sundays but I found the exact car that I wanted at Mike McGraths. I emailed them first thing Monday and Josh replied. It was a cold day in Iowa (go figure!) and Josh brought the car into the Service Bay so I could look it over in comfort. I drove it and the love affair started! Josh and Tim Dea were awesome to work with and Tim was even able to find a loan at a lower rate than we initially were going to have! I have purchased a few vehicles but never got exactly what I wanted. This time, I did and I got with fantastic c/s also! The followup calls, email and Thank You Basket was a wonderful touch! Since I have worked in customer service for over 20 years, it is something that I notice and greatly appreciate! I would recommend Mike McGraths as a great place to go and highly recommend Josh as the go-to salesperson.

I am very happy with my buying experience at Mike McGrath in Cedar Rapids and would recommend giving them a shot to anyone in the market for a new car. Joshua Froiland and Tim Dea were very helpful and made the process very simple and unstressful. I initially contacted Joshua via email about my interest in a particular Jeep and he got back to me very quickly and responded to all of my follow up questions right away. He even located the exact model that I wanted and had it delivered to the dealership the next day.I received a thank you basket as well as follow up emails and phone calls to make sure I was completely satisfied and if I had any questions after the sell which was very thoughtful.

I went to Mike McGrath Auto center looking for an inexpensive car for myself, as my old one had broken down. The sales staff there were very helpful in helping me narrow down what I am looking for, and did not pressure me to do anything when I told them I could not purchase that day. I ended up purchasing a vehicle from a family member, but the great experience I had at Mike McGrath will certainly stick in my mind, and next time I am in the market, or if I hear of anyone else looking to buy a car, I will make sure Mike McGrath gets my full attention.

I went looking for a specific vehicle online. I found what I needed and emailed several dealerships. Josh at Mike Mcgrath was the first to email me back, and showed me exactly what I needed to see.

Other dealerships tried to upsell me to a 'nicer' model, but Josh knew what I was looking for and only showed me what he had that I wanted. Josh went out of his way to bring cars to me (20 miles outside of town) because I didn't own a car. I was extremely pleased with his attitude and his demeanor. I would gladly recommend anyone looking for a car to work with the folks at Mcgrath. They are more than willing to work with you, and work for you.

I only buy jeep wranglers so my options for dealers are limited but I have bought my last three from Mike McGrath. I read the other reviews posted online and am surprised, Darin and Ken are great to work with and have been there for years so it makes it easy. I would recommend at least stopping in and checking it out

I went there to look at a new Jeep with a friend. First the guys did not take us seriously. While talking to a salesman, another salesman starts chewing our guy out for not putting a sign on a vehicle. That was highly uncalled for and SO not professional. That should have been taken care of on his own (the yeller) and not within site of customers.

I would not recommend this place.

I did not have a good experience with their used car business. We bought a used vehicle there once after a very pressured sale. The salesman assured us that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Well, when we got home and the vehicle sat overnight, there was a puddle of transmission fluid under it on our driveway. We were very upset. This was a Sunday so we waited until first thing Monday morning to take it back. They absolutely would not take it back. Their attitude was basically too bad so sad. After waiting there all day refusing to leave until this was resolved and talking to different managers, they finally said they would only take it back if we bought a different vehicle. We wanted a truck and there was very limited trucks available. We finally ended up with a bright green ford ranger. It was a decent enough truck, but we were never happy with the color and how we were treated at Mike Mcgraths used auto center. We will never buy another vehicle at any Mcgraths auto dealer whether it would be used or new. We do not recommend them.
