Amazing!
by Daniel D.
I want everybody to know about this school. In January of this year I saw a major transformation. The school is now owned by Coach Peter. His approach to teaching is unbelievable. My son hated the previous Martial Arts school he went too, so I was worried that he would not like Martial Arts because of it. Once he met Peter all my worries were gone. He connected with my son so fast. In the first 5 minutes I knew I found something special. West Coast has so many positives about it. First off the Instructors are very approachable. They know how to push the students without resorting to Yelling and "Belittling" the kids. One of Peters' thoughts that I love is the fact that he never gives push ups as a penalty. When push ups are given he always says "just for conditioning." He'll give the kids choices as to how many push ups they want to do. He'll say 5, 10, or 15. He says Quality first, Quantity second! At his old school he would be given 50 push ups for not punching strong or even worse being late for class. He couldn't do even 10 proper ones. Now he is doing 20 perfect! The training is second to none. Its very safe and yet very real. In the past couple of months they have worked on throwing knees, different types of throws, and how to do a arm bar. I didn't even know what that was until my son came home with "homework." (Peter had my son teach me). I used to think that all Karate schools were the same. Not anymore! I wish I found this school months ago!

Eddie the owner shows the determination to shape a kid up to intense martial arts. What I like about this place is how they are very patient in the instruction of kids and expect the utmost in all of them.
West Coast is also an excellent place if you like public display. They do several performances per year and is quite marvelous to everyone.
Come here if you want tae kwon do

This is a place that offers tea know do lessons. This is kidville, they have so many little ones here. They have adult classes here and for teens, but the general population is kids. The faculty is very small and so is the facility. They dont have air conditioning. Most of the classes are 45 minutes long. They expect you to attend a few times a week.

My youngest daughter has totally transformed her attitude because of her involvement here. She has learned respect, discipline, and a love of physical activity. This studio is especially great with kids, and really inspires them to do their very best.
