We wanted our children to swim from an early age and have had ours in Waterbabies and Aquatots. The teachers are amazingly patient, warm and professional. They go at the child's pace and it's amazing to see the result. My youngest is under 2 and LOVES the water now - jumping in on her own, swimming 7 full seconds underwater and kicking her legs.
The staff from management to front desk to teachers are incredible. They go above and beyond to accommodate your schedule, work with you on finances and even help get my older child dressed and fed while I do the class with my younger child.
We have been going regularly for almost a year and will never go anywhere else. They are amazing with kids AND with parents!

My daughter has been attending Emler Swim School since she was 5 mth old - at 4 1/2 yrs old she is a good, confident swimmer that loves the water. However, my greatest pride and biggest surprise about her Emler training is the respect she has for water. I will always highly recommend Emler Swim School program and encourage all families to look into their programs.

I could not be happier with our experience at Emler. My son is learning so much & loves swim lessons despite a bad experience we had doing lessons at our local pool. The instructors are true professionals and are also very supportive and caring. It's the best thing I have ever done with my son! I don't think it is that expensive considering it is 4 months of lessons...

This is a wonderful swim school. They have the right idea with small classes (no more than 4 kids per class) and great instructors. However, be prepared for paying $15 per lesson $5 if you have to reschedule any lessons...and a huge push at the end of the semester to continue lessons year round. We're ready for a break in the spring and the school is making it seem like we don't care about our son learning this life saving skill. In spite of this, I still think they are the best swim school around.

At first I wasn't sure because it is a little pricey and the pool is very small. However, a family member told me they have the best method for swim instruction. WOW! She was right. My son had taken swimming lessons at our local pool and did terrible. Within a few weeks they had him comfortable in the water and by the last week of summer class they had him swimming 5 ft!!! We were so impressed that we signed up for 19 more weeks of lessons for the fall. They also have great party packages for birthdays.

I was referred to Emler by a fellow mom who was not pleased with the boring instruction at the YMCA. Emler is definitely FAR from boring. The classes are held in an indoor pool and have a small teacher to student ratio. The program teaches children to swim through really fun activites. We do a lot of songs with movement in the water. Emler also uses many different props to catch the kids' attention. My favorite part of the classes is how they teach kids some basic safety things that are usually overlooked in other swim classes.

PROS: Small Classes, nice facility
CONS: VERY expensive, Small pool
