5 Stars: A Tasty Treat in Historic Downtown Golden (by Alex H.)

D'deli is one of the best little delis around. They excel in every category i can think to judge a restaurant on.

The Food: Great. simple great. The bread and ingredients used in their sandwiches (and soups) are always fresh and to the highest standards of taste. The specials listed are all unique and tasty, especially with gems like "The Jewzer" and the "Mines BBQ Blaster."

The Atmosphere: D'deli is a small little place on the main street. In the winter, it's a bit crowded trying to fit all the customers inside, but in the summer, when they can seat people outdoors, it's a great little lunch stop.

The Staff: The people working here are incredibly friendly. I'm always greeted by smiles... which is a good preface for a great sandwich.

Prices: It's a little pricey, especially for a poor college student like myself, but the fact that I come back 2 to 3 times a week proves that it's well worth it.

If you haven't been to D'deli, and you're near Golden, go. Now. If you have been, go again. There's always something new to try.

5 Stars: Family-owned deli in downtown Golden (by Miriam M.)

You might easily walk by this deli and not think to step in. How wrong that would be! This small deli on the main street in downtown Golden is perfect for lunch, whether summer or winter. If you're a sandwich fan, you can't go wrong. Homemade bread and a delicious variety of meats and cheeses, not to mention the extensive selection of add-ons (like sundried tomatoes) make for a filling sandwich. You can even buy the bread to take home. Soups are hearty and scrumptious too. On the hottest day of the summer, stop in for a homemade lemonade. My absolute favorite lunch spot in town!

3 Stars: Yummy sandwiches in the heart of Golden (by Julie C.)

D'Deli is a little hole in the wall sandwich place on Golden's main street. The sandwiches are really good--I especially recommend the chicken salad. I've heard the sandwiches and soups are excellent too, but have not tried them. The prices are a little high, but the quality is good--very fresh and made to order. The staff is friendly. There is no parking lot, but you can usually find a spot near by.

PROS: High quality, fresh sandwiches
CONS: A little pricey
