Las Vegas Baseball Academy

I can't say enough good things about this organization. The founder and manager is Mike Martin, a former pro player for the Cubs, and locally for the 51's, among others. He has assembled a staff of coaches with excellent levels of expertise - from current college players to ex-pro players to pro scouts to high school/college baseball coaches. LVBA runs several clinics throughout the year focusing on offensive and defensive playing skills, but also developing the player mentally, always instilling a sense of fun and joy in the game. Check out the website for all the information. My son has been attending clinics and working with these coaches for two years now, and it's great to see how quickly his game has developed.

PROS: All of the above and much more!
CONS: None really - although there is a time and cost commitment.
