Cascade Drive-In

I LOVE the cascade drive in theatre.It brings back a lot of great memories of when my father was alive,and how much fun my parents and siblings and I had there.I still remember playing on the playground under the large screen,and mom watching over us with the breese in her hair and a large smile on her face.I love being able to take my mother,my children,and friends to enjoy this great outdoor experience.But honestly its more the great memories that keep bringing me to this fantastic place and more great memories to come.

Cascade Drive-In is the only drive-in movie theatre in West Chicago. The screen size is good, but the picture was sometimes slightly out of focus. Speakers are available in the lot, but I prefer to use my car stereo. The price is $7/person and you get to see 2 new releases (not the usual 1). My largest complaint is the parking and traffic. I went on a Saturday night and was coming in from the east. The drivers are inconsiderate and skip you when trying to enter the lot. I ended up sitting out on the roadway trying to get-in for a good 25 minutes while other drivers were cutting in. Also, the parking was very tight. When leaving, the cops are all over the road and anticipate catching speeders after the last movie ends.

One of the few reaming drive-in movie theaters. Fun for a change of pace and cheap ticket price for two movies. Stay away from the food as it is horrible. Bathrooms are also gross.

This is a fabulous deal. For just $7 a person, you get to see not one, but two great movies under the stars from the comfort of your own car. It's a steal and the movies are quality; you can even catch new releases. They have a food place on the grounds and the screen quality is nothing to complain about. Kids get in for $3. The lot opens at 7 and they're now open 7 days a week. The first movie usually starts around 8:40. Although their are speakers available in the lot, you can tune in to the movie from your car radio. I've been coming here for years and it's always been fun, growing up as a kid and now.

PROS: Very fun, unbeatable movie bargain and experience
CONS: Second movie ends very late and the drive home is long, but what can you do
