I can't believe that Summerfest only has three reviews to date. THIS IS THE BIGGEST MUSIC FESTIVAL IN THE WORLD. There are many stages, with many different kinds of music. They have booked names such as Lee Ann Rimes, Kid Rock, Drowning Pool, Tom Petty, Stix, Musiq Soulchild, the Flobots, John Mellencamp, Trace Adkins, the Steve Miller Band, Stone Temple Pilots, & 311- just to name a few. As you can see, there is a wide variety of artists. Summerfest costs about $12 to get in, but keep in mind, this includes admission to ALL stages in Summerfest besides the Ampitheatre. WHAT A GOOD DEAL!!

We love going to Summerfest. We love seeing all the different artists. We even take the kids (teenagers). The food is always really good and fun to find different stuff there. The parking is fairly well organized but still a pain to get in and out.

Every year we have visited Summerfest, we have never been disappointed. It's an amazing experience that you won't want to miss if you truly want to see the culture of Milwaukee. There are tons of opportunities to listen to great music, many entertaining shows or demonstrations, and of course, the food is something that always tastes great. During the day, it's a kid friendly place. Not so much in the evening/night. Definitely recommend taking the bus down instead of driving all the way there.

PROS: Many options as far as music goes
CONS: lots of walking

If you like festivals, go here during the day! With the kids, there are magic shows and a humungous playland, good food (plenty to choose from), rides and good music. If you're going at night, though, leave the kiddies at home, as it tends to turn into a big drunk fest, regardless of whether it's a weekday or not. There are fireworks on the first night, though, which might be worth the rowdy crowd.

PROS: Good food, music, kids things, fireworks
CONS: WAY too much alcohol
