I have eaten at Llody's 4 times now since they opened. There were some bad situtations early on, but now things are going better. There is new help and everyone is getting trained. The food is getting there and service is much faster. There are only long waits during weekends.

Everyone needs to remember that this is a coffee shop not a 5-star Hollyweird restaurant.

I recommend hash browns, eggs and bacon for breakfast.

Have some patience, give them time and give them a second chance.

My wife, two friends and myself tried Lloyds' in early July 2005. When we arrived the couple across from us was discussing a "food problem" with the waitress. I let it go.

When we ordered (Turkey & Gravy, BLT, Club & Turkey Sandwich) we were horrified to find that:
1. The cranberry sauce served with the Turkey and Gravy was moldy.
2. The Turkey on both sandwiches was just thin sliced turkey meet you purchase at Vons or Ralphs and it was dry.
3. All three sandwiches were served on white bread - NO ONE ordered white bread (2 sourdough, 1 wheat).
4. The club sandwich was so dry the cheese was getting that white flaky film on it.
5. For some reason they carbonate their lemonade. When we asked about it, the waitress looked at us like we were crazy - everyone knows all lemonade is carbonated.

We brought up some of the issues with the waitress, she claimed the white bread was sourdough and retrieved a replacement cranberry.

No one should ever go here. In my imagination, this is what prison food tastes like.

That said there is a bar in the back (Same Name Lloyds). Other than putting signs out welcoming "Bikers," it is nice. The bar area is huge, the band we heard was good (Blue Grass) and there are pool tables and great help. I would however warn against ordering any food, as it probably comes from the restaurant.

PROS:
CONS: Do not eat here
