Anderson Park is centrally located in downtown Redmond. It's an older park (but the equipment is not old) with a building that you can rent for corporate events, reunions, etc. There are restrooms available. It's got a nice playground set with slides, swings and one of those things that the kids can grab onto and slide from one side of the structure to another. Like Tarzan. There is a nice, big sandbox that is shaded by trees. The only thing I don't like is that Anderson Park is bordered by some busy streets. I have a toddler that likes to give me heart palpitations by running toward the streets. There is a parking lot next to the play area but it belongs to a church - you can park there as long as the church is not in session. Otherwise, there is plenty of street parking.

Anderson Park is a nice, shady little park right in the middle of downtown Redmond. They have some cool cabins (that people can rent, apparently), as well as picnic tables and grassy areas for the kids to run around. The best part is that there is a nice, big play structure for the kids to climb on, as well as a sand pit. My kids can't get enough of digging in the sand. This is a nice place to take a break from running errands while in downtown.
