Micki Krebsbach Pool is a RIP OFF we have t sit and wait for 10 min just for adults ...... we get tired and eventually end up leaving what a waste of money! its fun and nice to go ... besides all the food rappers swiming around..... oh and my favoite part (sarcasum) is that the little kids start useing the restroom in the pool!! oh and the little bugs swimming around /.. the lifes are cute:) but they dont pay attention ....
I went to this pool yesterday with my two children. There were four lifeguards on duty. Not one of them noticed when my daughter went down the slide, panicked, and started going under. The one at the top of the slide was kicked back in his chair, chatting with someone. The one standing next to the slide (instead of IN the water by the slide) was staring off in the complete opposite direction. I screamed at one of the lifeguards to get her, and he did not even acknowledge me. I finally yelled loud enough for the closest lifeguard to hear, and he jumped in and got her. My daughter came extremely close to drowning, while there were FOUR lifeguards on duty. I feel that these lifeguards were NOT at all doing their job. If I had not been paying attention, I hate to think of what could have happened. These lifeguards need to take their job more seriously.
PROS: clean pool
CONS: lifeguards do not pay attention to the water
I wish there were more pools like this one so that it wouldn't be constantly crowded. It's best to go in the Summer morning during mom and tot time, but if you have older ones they can not go then. Pricing is comparable with other pools in the area and they will give rain checks if it starts to rain after you get there. The pool is kept clean and most lifeguards watch the children very closely. There is a lot to do at this pool for the litte ones. The litlle ones can play under the mushroom waterfall or crawl on a giant sized animal that squirts water. There are diving boards and a slide for the bigger ones.
PROS: Very eye catching for little ones
CONS: Too crowded
I don't feel that the lifeguards monitor the children very well. My little ones have been knocked over too many times to count in the baby pool side by bigger kids running and they were never told to stop. When I complained I was told that they cannot make bigger kids stay out of the shallow baby side of the pool. If the lifeguards had disciplined these kids it wouldn't of been a problem with them being around the little ones but since they didn't several children (including mine) got knocked down and went under water. Pricing and parking were fine.
PROS: Children enjoy it
CONS: Can be unsafe for little ones
We love going to this pool. The water is alway clean and clear and the slide seems to be the favorite with our little one. The lifeguards are well equiped and attentive so I know every trip will be a safe and happy time for all of us. Gets a bit crowded but it's worth the small fee to get in.
PROS: Clear water - Slide - Lifeguards
CONS: Not enough time in a day
My son and I really love going to this pool. They have so many fun things for him to play with. The toddler area is HUGE. It has a mushroom waterfall, animals that the kids can climb on, geysers, a beach entrance, and a big sprinkler. For the older kids, this pool has an awesome slide and obstacle course. If you have kids under 5 years of age, the best time to go is during Parent/Tot swim. During this time, it is uncrowded and you don' t have to worry about your toddler getting trampled.
PROS: cheap, many things to do
CONS: very limited shade and gets very crowded on the weekends
