Dantanna's is not a sports bar, it's Atlanta's only upscale sports restaurant that exudes the sophistication and elegance of a five-star restaurant and excitement and entertainment of having a private box at your favorite game. Dantanna's menu features the freshest seafood and best-aged steaks in the city while including a wide range of delectable options that cater to a variety of preferences. Everything is prepared from scratch using fresh seafood that is flown in twice daily, Creekstone Farms aged and organic beef, Springer Mountain naturally raised chicken and Niman Ranch free-range pork. We also house The Buckhead Cigar Lounge, an independently owned cigar shop and adjoining lounge, that ensures you will get the perfect cigar for the evening or later. Dantanna's combines culinary excellence with the entertainment value of sports to create the ultimate restaurant experience.

Outstanding!  5 Star Rating - World class

Had come into Atlanta from Boston recently. I love to eat at the North End in Boston...I love Italian seafood dishes. When I saw Cioppino on the menu I was hesitant as I have had the best...until now!!!!! The Cioppino at Dantanna's is off the chain! OUTSTANDING!Large chunks of Salmon, Mahi Mahi, with a generous portion of Scallops and Shrimp, with a HUGE king Crab Leag (per Shucked for ease of eating!) All of this in a Bouillabaisse broth to die for!!!!!! I would put this menu up against any in Boston or New York! Not to mention great friendly service from the Managers on down to the bus help! I will definitely be back !

Sports bar with great food!  4 Star Rating - Very good

The food here is amazing. Specializing in seafood and steaks, this sports bar has it down pat. The service is excellent and you can't beat a place that has so many televisions it's a gurantee that you'll have a perfect view of the game. They have a great patio which is also awesome now that the new GA smoking law prohibits smoking in resturants and happy hour is a blast with a lively crowd.

great late night 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I recommend going to Dantanna's for a late night drink at the bar, or even a late night dinner. The place does not close too late, probably a little before midnight so try to beat the rush of kitchen closing. You can sit near or away from the bar. The service was good when I was there, I was also able to enjoy the Olympics from where I was sitting. The menu is like the usual bar food with some other selections. The fish of the day is always something new and different.

Pros: late night

Best Sports Bar 4 Star Rating - Very good

Dantanna's is the best sport's bar in the city. It is upscale and the food is gourmet, quite an improvement from the standard sports bar.

Best late night! 5 Star Rating - World class

I love going to Dantanna's when it's late at night....they have the best burger EVER!!! I really like that they serve some really good wines (like Tapestry for $15/glass - that's a steal). It's the best place to be if you want to go somewhere to chill late at night....it can get crowded and they run out of seats at the bar,....but if you go when it's not ver busy it's a great experience....high end sports bar. The staff is very friendly and after a while, they become sort of....your late night friends! I love it!

Pros: friendly staff, awesome burger, great wines - for a sports bar
Cons: crowded, not enough seats

Steak to DIE for, noisy on big game night 5 Star Rating - World class

Our visit was on a Saturday night around 9pm. My mom is a steak expert. If you hand her a steak that isn't the cut she asked for she knows it. If the temperature is just past medium she knows that too. That said she seldom (never) gets a steak that she loves and an edible one usually takes at least 2 tries. Dantanna's managed to serve my mom a PERFECT steak. Juicy, hot, flavorful, sizeable. My mom enjoyed every bite and has decided to keep coming back despite the drive from Conyers. I also loved my steak and some really tasty mashed sweet potatoes. The girl at the desk was a little snotty but if you are persistent you can put your name on the list ahead of your arrival so you don't have to wait as long. They take your cell phone number and call you when the table is ready. If you are there when they call you are good to go. The crowd has a trendy feel to it but none of my party would be considered trendy and we still enjoyed ourselves. Also don't be scared away by it being a sports bar. Think of Dantanna's as a high class restaurant with TVs.

Pros: Menu, service, ambiance
Cons: Loud

They care about your comfort. 5 Star Rating - World class

I sit at the bar and work using their free wireless internet. The bartenders are friendly and professional. Although non smoking inside, you can step out on into a covered heated/airconditioned patio to partake (New Yorkers would travel far for this amenity). They have an enclosed cigar club section in the back with a huge selection of premium cigars. The audio visual system is very professional, bright, crisp, not green and weak like most other bars. Music is not loud and relates to the low key patrons. The pricing is moderate; nothing good comes cheap. The food is very good. I highly recommend this joint to relax and have a drink. It's very sophisticated. I write this as I sit at the bar. Cheers!

Pros: Free wireless internet
Cons: none
