By far - one of the best children's' museums around as it is do-able in a half day. They have an amazing water room, complete with boats, fog machine, and even slip-free padding and aprons for the kids to wear! There is also a rain forest exhibit, Healthyville USA, and a room that lets the kids experiment with motion. In the summer, the courtyard is open and children can play with the various bubbles toys. Snack bar eating area is SMALL ( only 2 tables), so I wouldn't plan on eating here. Gift shop is incredible and I have some great birthday and holiday items (plus museum members get 10% off).Outside on warmer days, thee is a fantastic playground next door to the museum.

This place is fancy with great water play for little ones. This is where we spent most of our time. Older daughter was really bored though so this should be for younger children. They have a place to eat, they make a few sandwiches, etc. but are a little pricey. Nice for a day!

This is a great museum for kids that is a bit fancier than the Kidcity Museum in Middletown. They have a very nice water room where kids can put balls on one side and watch them move down through different obstacles and then 'flush' through a tube. They have a large bubble making center outside where you can make gigantic bubbles and even make a bubble around you. They offer a membership that is reciprocal with hundreds of other kids museums throughout the country. The only problem is, they are usually pretty crowded. They have a nice gift shop and there is a great park right next door.

PROS: Great exhibits
CONS: Crowded

This museum, although small, is a colorful, hands-on, creatively themed playground for your child's senses. There is so much to touch, see, and hear. There is also a variety of exhibits that will attrack children at each development stage. The museum has a 'water room' filled with water tables and water related features. The museum has covered all bases and hands out smocks as you walk into the room. Plus, there is a hand dryer by the exit. The exhibits change regularly (possibly yearly).

PROS: Tons of fun!!! Child friendly!!!
CONS: Cafe is over priced and not children friendly

We went here on a winter afternoon during school break, and the kids had a wonderful time. It is small enough not to be overwhelming, but there is enough to keep the kids entertained. There is a water exhibit that the kids absolutely adored - but even though the museum provided rain slickers, the kids still got soaked to the bone. I wish I had known ahead of time so I could have brought a change of clothes!!! Overall, it is a very nice, imaginative museum.
