This location has never been good and the waits have always been horrible. The only reason we ever came back was because of Dr. Conti. He was a wonderful doctor and will be greatly missed. I went back today for the first time since his passing and waited over an hour to see Dr. Garcia. When I asked why you have to wait an hour and a half past your appointment time I was told (after asking more than once) she triple books appointments. Then when we finally saw her she spent all of about 2 minutes with us. We will never come back to this office and I urge everyone not to support a doctor who has no respect for her patients time. Just because you are a doctor and obviously greedy since you triple book doesn't mean your time is anymore important than mine.

This office used to be very good in the early 2000's, but then they got some loud-mouthed arrogant desk clerk about 2005 and this place has been in a nosedive ever since. We recently went back, and it is as if they forgot how to deal with our insurance company and we're getting hit with BIG BUCKS out of pocket. The good doctors have all left over the years, and the staff has become increasingly rude.

Now, they make appointments for you with more high priced referrals and don't tell you with whom or when or how much it will cost.

To top it off, it turns out Conti has been playing with lives concerning stem cells. I'm all for stem cell research and use, but not outside the rules:

Ive been going to this office since my daughter was born, she is now 5 years old. The only doctor I ever really liked there was Dr. Monib, she actually took time to make sure you understood what was wrong or what you could do to help, I tried to make an appt with Monib but she had left that practice (no wonder) so my last visit was with Dr. Conti and I felt like he was more interested in looking at my legs than he was in my daughter, it was really uncomfortable and he half-assed answered all my questions, but in his waiting room he has pictures and articles of him in a local magazine as if hes one of the best drs. around. My daughter hasnt been sick in a while and I looked up the office today online to see what docs would be available and Conti wasn't there so I was going to try a different dr. The office girl answered the phone with somewhat of an attitude, or disinterest in her job and when I said I'd like to make an appointment for my daughter, shes sick, and the girl responded with "our computers are down please call back." I just feel that everyone in that office is incompetent and should look for work they may actually enjoy, at least dont work with sick kids or worried parents. It's ridiculous to ask a patient to call back, what happened to being able to write with your hand to schedule an appointment... incompetent like I said. Will NEVER go back to this anyone at this office, the drs. are only as good as the staff they hire, that says enough!

I am blown away by some of the negative reviews! My kids are 12 and 14 and they've seen Dr.Conti from day 1. He is fantastic and I couldn't ask for more from a pediatrician! He cares, he listens and he is truly interested in my kids well being. Dr. Sandusky was outstanding with my daughter! She related, was so sweet, answered questions, left no stone unturned. She and Dr. Conti are as good as it gets!

Where to begin? The rude office staff, the dirty office, the disinterested Drs., the 45 minute wait to see a Dr.

But I must say that the last (and final) time I went in to have my daughter's 6 month check up was the worst. I was supposed to see Dr. Conti, but he was out so I saw Dr. Sandusky, the PA. She came in and went through the checkup but didn't really listen to any of my questions about my daughter's sleep patterns, eating habits, or acid reflux problems and gave generic responses. When she left the room I remembered that I had one more question. I went out into the hall and grabbed a nurse and asked if she would get Dr. Sandusky. She yelled out, "Hey Chelsea, room 2 needs you!" And I heard someone yell, "Argh! Now what?".
I'm sorry but if you signed up to be a Dr., your job is to answer questions.
I will be moving to another pediatrician for certain now.

I went to foothills pediatrics for my two year olds shots.... teh doc was ok but they have a nurse at the town center location ....she is the most horrible nurse ive ever met. She was rude the whole time . They forgot my appointment, lost her shot records, and then they were rude to me about it. THe nurse came in and tried to shove my daughter down with no warning for her shots. when my daughter cried she looked annoyed and yelled at me to KEEP HER AWAY so she could do her job. DO NOT GO HERE. tehy could care less about your children. they are obviously in it for money ONLY

Read Las Vegas Sun series on "Indentured Doctors" and you will learn all you need to know...Sept. 2007 article reads "pediatrician, Dr. Michael Rosenmann, employed her (J-1 foreign physician), sponsored her visa and then cheated her and a hospital out of tens of thousands of dollars each". The more you read, the worse it gets. How could anyone trust him w/their children????

I am a first time mom and my son is nearly 5 months old. To give you a little background, my husband and I have decided not to vaccinate our son at this point in time. We tend to take a more natural/homeopathic approach with our health. With that said, we had discussed this with our pediatrician and signed the appropriate documents, etc.
I have so many nice things to say about Dr. Mendoza he is so great with my son. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for the awful nurse practitioner that works the Centennial Hills office on the weekends. Zhanna Killian is the most awful person I have ever encountered and I advise to avoid her at all costs.
My son had what I believed to be a broken blood vessel in his eye, but I wanted to have it checked out just to be on the safe side. When I called to make an appointement Dr. Mendoza didn't have anything open until the following week but I was offered an early morning appointment on a Sunday just to have my son looked over since I was so concerned. I took the offer. Little did I know what I had in store. . . She proceeded to ask me questions which had nothing to do with my son's eye (the entire reason I was there), turned her glasses down to glare at me and said, "And one other thing I need to discuss with you. . . WHY do you not vaccinate your son?" Now, I should have stopped the conversation at this point with a simple, "It's none of your business." however, being the person that I am I decided to engage in the conversation.
I proceeded to tell her that at this point in time my husband and I have decided to "delay" my sons vaccinations to give him time to build his own immune system and also give us an oppotunity to do more research on the vaccinations and decide whether or not we believe some, all or none of them are necessary. At that time she interrupted me and went on to tell me that I was killing my son by not vaccinating him and how stupid I was for following a celebrity trend created by Jenny McCarthy. She also told me that "natural people like you" have "no education" and "no foundation for making the decisions you do." Firstly, and unbeknownst to her, I have a medical background with a degree in Biology and have done quite a bit of extensive research on vaccinations, the compounds used in them and the diseases they are for before making the decision to delay vaccinations. I was offended that such an ignorant comment was made. So to save you the drawn out back and forth banter that continued for quite some time I will get to why I am so offended. . .
She said that she was "being a voice for those who cannot speak and you are killing your son by making choices for him that he has no voice in." To which I responded that there are adult vaccination schedules should he decide in the future to have them. She told me that it was too late by then (Ha!) and that at that time there was no hope. I let her rant just for the sake of getting out of there. Her closing statement as she left the room was,"His next check-up is at 6 months. God forbid anything happen to him by then and we will see you back here with a baby, alive and well, in your arms." ARE YOU SERIOUS, LADY? How dare you say something like that to me or any other parent for that matter?!
Her bedside manner was less than desirable. Doctors/nurses/medical staff are not there to impose opinions on you, but to state facts and diagnose. Give me statistics. Give me solid evidence. Needless to say, I will NEVER be going back to see her and even though I have enjoyed my visits with Dr. Mendoza I may never go back to that office again. I am currently searching for new doctors due to such a horrible experience.
Do your research as a parent. Don't let these people bully you just because they think a degree makes them the know-all/be-all. You have a right as a parent to know what is going into your child's body and refuse it if you think it will have negative consequences.

I can safely say I have never waited LESS than 45 minutes and in all cases had a scheduled appointment. There are generally 5-6 employees milling about in the office area while the wait can extend to over an hour. While the care is generally satisfactory I would NOT recommend this office.

The Sienna Location needs help with their front desk staff. RUDE! SHORT! and not helpful in answering questions. There is always a LONG wait (1-2 hours minimum) and they seem overbooked. Once in the doctor room however, Dr Conti was great: a fast talker, but willing to work with us on an alternative vaccination plan, he was fine with me NOT formula feeding- and he gave us his cell number, and he always calls back within 20 minutes. His new hire, Dr Chelsea is super sweet, and very attentive with our daughter. She is also on board with the alternative schedule. WISH THEY WOULD CHANGE OFFICES, OR FRONT DESK STAFFING

I took my child to the Foothills Pediatrics on Mountain Vista, and I have to say that it was an overall bad experience. The Medical Assistant, or Nurse ( I am not sure what her title was, because she didn't introduce herself) came into the exam room to give my two year old daughter a vaccine, and proceeded to inject her without gloves on. She was rough with my daughter, and didn't speak to her at all. I am sure that it was terrifying for my child. Then after she had not followed O.S.H.A. health regulations during the shot, I tried to speak with the woman, and she responded to me in broken English, leaving me unable to communicate with her. I tried conveying my concerns to the woman in the front ( and requesting a document I needed from the office stating that my child was in good health,) and she began to be very aggressive with me. She used rude, using confrontational statements, and snapping her neck back and forth. I then attempted to speak with the office manager about the combative nature, and unsanitary procedure of the office staff, and she clearly had no concern for the patients. She tried to explain to me that this was just how the front office girls personality was, and I should deal with it. I left after not being able to convey my concerns to the office manager in private, because the girl who had tried to intimidate me, was standing behind the manager, yelling derogatory comments about me, just over her superiors shoulder. I would not recommend anyone expose themselves or their children to this office. They were unsafe in procedure, and unprofessional in behavior. They should be closed down.

Worst office ever. This place overbooks without any regard for patients. Doctors at his office are just slow and lazy. They may be educated but at what cost do you wait 3 hours to be seen. Unbelievable. If you go to this office you will see what I'm talking about. Good luck

I am writing regarding the Fort Apache office. I have five children and have NEVER in my life had such a completely horrible experience as I did with this office. From beginning (waiting over an hour to be seen) to end with everyone from the receptionist, nurse, office manager to Dr. Moore (who's laking) bedside manner and patient/parent compassion and concern, etc. Please DON'T waste your time as I did and take my warning!!! The only good that's come of it is that we have found a great pediatrician.

On 4/6/10 I called the office to get information since I'm looking for a new pediatrician for my two grandchildren, and I didn't understand what the name of the office was. All I heard was "Hill" so I asked the lady to repeat it and still all I heard was Hill, so I said to her: I'm sorry but that was Hill what? and she hung up on me. I called back right after that and the phone was picked up and hung right up.
I WILL NOT BE GOING THERE, if thats how they treat you over the phone........I hate to see what the doctor visits will be like!!!!!

When I went in for my newborns first check up Dr. Conti talked way to fast and did not seem to answer any of my questions. He acted like he didn't have any time for me. But when I brought my son back the next week for his circumcision he saw that my husband was an Eagles fan and had all the time in the world for us. Also his circumcision was only half done. He still looks like he isn't completely circumcised.

My wife and I have three children (a 3 year old boy and 10 month twins (1 boy, 1 girl). All of them are patients at Foothill Pediatrics and we were referred by our mid-wife when our first was born.

My initial interactions with Dr. Conti and his office were positive. Dr. Conti is a great guy with excellent bedside manner and is an all around good doctor. My wife usually takes the kids and she has had good interactions with the other doctors in the practice as well.

Unfortunately, today I had the absolute worst experience I can recall having in a doctor??s office in my life. (Parent or as a patient).

To give the proper context I want to provide all of the facts regarding my visit.

- One of my twins had a fever and I set an appointment on Saturday at 10:20 am at Siena
-My family's health insurance is covered by my employer
-My oldest son was seen by Foothills one week prior to my visit today and was seen at the Southern Hills office
-My wife took her ID and my oldest son's insurance card and was seen with no problem
-Today, I did not have my twin son's insurance card with me (my bad)
-I went home to get the insurance card after there was some issue with the dependents not appearing under my account as active (bad job insurance company)
-At this point the staff in the front said the only way we could be seen is by paying $150 and that if I didn't I should go to Quick Care
-After a calm back and forth and my knowledge that the office was closing at 2, I paid the $150 and went back to be seen

I liken my experience to getting to the altar and telling my fianc that I lost the ring and she refusing to get married unless I run to 7 eleven and get a replacement for the ceremony. (Really??? Really??? Keep the receipt though because when you find it you can take it back. 3 years and we have come to this.

My concern with this aspect of my experience was that one of my kids was seen at one office and seen with no issue with the exact same information that was presented today and no issue was raised. To an extent my frustration is more directed to my insurance company; however, I am as frustrated with Foothill that no policy or procedure is in place to work with a family that has been patronizing their business for nearly 3 years and has consistently shown an ability and willingness to pay for services rendered. I was willing to chalk this up to a misunderstanding and give a call to the billing person and discuss the issue and get it resolved. I am business person and I understand the need to protect yourself. This could be viewed as out of the control of Foothill.

The second phase of my interaction is what really caused me to begin to look for another doctor. Immediately upon setting my son's carrier down on the floor, a voice behind me says "Medical conditions?" Taken aback at the abruptness and lack of greeting to me or my son, I asked the medical assistant to repeat his question. With an indifferent air he repeated himself and I replied with, "Hello my name is Alex and this is my son P. he has a fever and it sounds like you have some questions that you would like to ask me" He begrudgingly introduced himself asked the questions and went on about his business. Fortunately, my actual visit with the doctor (not Conti) was good. However, 1 out of 3 good experiences does not cut it. I don't go to Wal Mart because I don't like feeling like I am in a factory and I won't go back to foothill because I now feel the same. Customer service is absolutely in your control. I am just a number to my insurance company I get it, but I don??t and won't accept being a number to my doctor or their staff.

Apparently the culture among the staff is that the practice is so large that treating any individual client with good service is unnecessary because they are too big to fail. I don't wish any ill will against the practice or their employees; however, I think it is important to express my frustrations so that others can make an informed decision about their health care provider.

I delivered my son at southern hills, and being new to las vegas I did not have a pediatrician picked yet. Dr Moore more then willingly volunteered for the job, and has done an amazing job caring for my son. Both Dr Moore and Dr Conti have been very helpful!! My son is now 13 months old, and I have not one complaint! Any time of day, I get the answers I'm looking for. 1 am I called the doctors offiice and in a matter of 4 minutes after hanging up with the answering service, I received a call from the doctor. If I need my son to be seen same day, they get me in sometimes as soon as I can get there, other times, within an hour or so. The front office staff is amazing, and the nurses know my son and give him attention as if he were their own. There was a nurse from another office that was assisting the ft apache office who was absolutely amazing! She called my son her little baby buddha and was so attentive and understanding. The service and care you get at foothills pediatrics is 100% all the time!

My son sees Dr Moore he is very much on time his staff is always very helpful. I have never had to wait past my appointment time, they are good to get you in and he is a Dr that really cares. He cares not only about the child but also how it effects the parents. I drive almost an hour for my son to see him and it is worth every cent of gas...

I chose not to use Foothills Pediatrics due to their massive staff. I wanted a doctor who knew my child. After choosing a different doctor, Foothills billed me over 1,000.00 for services that I never received. They called my home under false pretenses to acquire personal information from my mother for collection purposes. They refuse to contact me when I leave messages inquiring about charges. The small amount of information they have about my child is wrong also yet they still feel they can collect monies on a bogus account.

We are new parents and take our son to Dr. Moore at the Fort Apache location. I am very picky about physician offices. The staff at this location is very much on their game. They are well organized, very friendly and we never wait more than a few minutes. Dr. Moore is so great. My husband and I always leave with smiles and feel all our questions & concerns are answered. Being new to Las Veags, I was worried about finding a good pediatrician without the benefit of recommendations from friends/family...I am so happy to have met Dr. Moore and hope my review is helpful to those looking for a good pediatrician.

Front office staff are not professional and very unwilling to help at this location. They all have attitudes and are rude. The Mtn. Vista Location in Henderson is much friendlier.

The first few visits i tried to avoid Rosenman because of the negative comment I read about him. But I had to take my son in at the last minute so he was open. I thought he was great. Very friendly and welcoming. I felt that he cared about my son's health. The staff was all friendly and light hearted. I would suggest scheduling an appointment on a day dr. conti is not in the office. The only time i had to wait was during one of his days (and i wasn't even seeing him). I haven't had a problem getting same or next day appointments (so that helps avoid long waits at the ER).

Caring, kind, funny. All words that describe both of these doctors. So loving to my kids, and sweet with them. My 5 year old is NEVER scared to see Dr. Conti, and Dr. Moore has just been so wonderful and helpful when we have seen him. We go to the Southern Hills/Ft. Apache office, never have to wait more than a very few minutes. I feel really very very lucky to have such supportive doctors! Also, both of them are 100% for breastfeeding, and very helpful in that regard. Also, they respect a parents right to choose about circumcision and shots.

Dr. Conti had been our Dr. for 11+ years. Years ago it was wonderful. He was very attentive and remembered everything about our children. Recently we had another child - nine years after the last one. Even though we have been with him over a decade, Dr. Conti couldn't be bothered to check our new baby out of the hospitlal, he sent one of the other doctors from his practice. I didn't know this Dr. and have never ever seen anyone else except Dr. Conti. Needless to say I didn't like this Dr. AT ALL, very rude and bossy. I reminded this Dr. I was the mother. I was informed in no uncertain terms that if I didn't do what I was told then social services would be called on me. I don't believe professionals should resort to such threats, especially during such a happy time as the birth of a child. I promptly fired this Dr., and have since refused to return to Dr. Conti, since he just doesn't seem to have the time to bother anymore.

My children have been seeing Dr. Rosenman for about 10 years now. And, very contrary to the previous post I find him caring and compassionate. I would, and have, recommended him to friends. They have had good experiences with him as well. We all have bad days, people, including doctors. Dr. Rosenman has provided my family with good care for many years.

I actually would recommend most docs at Foothills. Drs. Conti, Moore and Garcia are especially great, however, Dr. Rosenman ruins it for the entire practice. I saw Dr. Rosenman because I could not get in with Conti and I found him to be patronizing, uncaring and clearly money motivated. When I asked about some different meds that I know are new and more expensive, he shut me down immediately and mentioned something about prior auths and staff not having time. After talking with friends I heard even more horror stories. I would rather go to the ER than have my children see that sorry excuse for a doctor.

Dr. Conti is a great pediatrician. he has seen our son from birth and now is 2. Me and my wife are new at parenting and he gives us a little help on when to get him off the bottle and when to start potting training. he does a good job at answers all questions. he is busy so i would write them down ahead of time. this is not to say he wont take time to discuss any but, he does keep things rolling. one thing to keep in mind as far as wait times go, he has two rooms a sick and a well one. with the sick room alot of them dont have appts for obvious reasons and he takes as many of them as possible first. if this is the case i dont mind waiting a little longer. the nurses that are there , some are better than others. we prefer the mountain view office over the st rose office, we have found the staff at that office to be more friendly and attentive overall. my last point is a story that sticks with me to this day about Dr. Conti. when my son was going in for his 6th month check up we were waiting in the waiting room and Dr. Conti was up at the front desk waiting for his staff to get something and their were a few of us waiting (not long) but, he came out and not only recognized all of us but, shook hands with all of us and asked how we were doing and at the same time saying hi to our kids and asking about our kids. i have seen many doctors and have not met ANY that would have done that. this memory will always stay with me and not only because he came out of his "office" but me and wife had only seen him one other time and that was at birth. Me and my wife are very happy with Dr. Conti and we see no other doctor in his office unless its him. this is no reflection on the other doctors we havent seen any of them but, Dr. Conti is the one who knows us and more importantly our son.

I have been going to Foothills Pediatrics for 2 1/2 years now and I am happy with Dr. Malixy. Dr. Conti I feel talks too fast, and almost made me feel stupid when I asked him questions. I am a first time parent and Dr. Malixy took her time and explained things to me. She always hugs my son and I never feel like she is in a hurry, where Dr. Conti is so booked that he rushes through his appointments to get to the next one. He seems like a nice guy just not right for me.

For the most part I have been happy with all of the doctors in that practice.

While the other parents are right Dr. Conti is VERY hard to get into to see, it is well worth it. He is so good with our children and our SON loves him. Dr. Malixi, NOT so much. I have also seen her on 2 seperate occassions and I have requested to NOT see her again. My Duaghter had Thrush ALL OVER her tongue and she tried to tell me that it was just milk. WRONG! She just had her 4th dose of medicine and it's FINALLY gone. I would suggest Dr. Leroy or Dr. Farrow. Both are very good with bedside manner and are very keen with past history... looking into the chart for past illness and so forth. If you want to see Dr. Conti you can choose to wait or go see these other 2 Dr.s I suggested. Good Luck and either way you should be pleased. I always am.

I took my daughter to Foothills Pediatrics at the Del Webb Medical Plaza. We had heard wonderful things about Dr. Conti but ended up seeing one of his partners, Dr. Cynthia Malixi. It was a very, very bad experience. The entire staff was very unfriendly as was the doctor. She had a very poor attitude and a bedside manner more fit for adults. I would definitely not recommend this practice to anyone.

PROS: Nothing
CONS: very, very unfriendly staff and doctor

I've lived in 4 different cities and I've had many peditricians. I have never experienced a doctor as good as Dr. Conti. He remembers everything about my children. We saw him and his family recently at a restaurant and he asked about the wellness of my son 4 months after seeing him for an illness. Needless to say I'm very impressed. He always remembers us and the family history.

PROS: Great sense of humor and good doctor
CONS: parking is tough

I have 3 kids. Moving to Las Vegas with a new baby I need a GOOD peds Dr. Went though a couple and saw alot of incoraging information on Dr. Conti being "The Best Dr. in Las Vegas". It was tough to get in to see him. I often ended up seeing one of his partners. The wait was so long. Then he never remembered who my kids where. That is so important when there is a continues problem with a child. I kept getting very generic diagnosis on things that I felt were so important. He didnt remembe that this was an on going problem. Now my kids though he was wonderful and funny and just a great guy. And well he is. But as a parent I need more than humor to fix my kids illnesses. Maybe I just expected too much.

PROS: He is bright and funny and great with the kids
CONS: he never remembered who my kids where or there medical problems.
