Lindy's Country Cupboard Cake

The cake was delicious and so cute! Princess theme for my grand baby and everyone asked me where did i get it? it was moist, pineapple and vanilla cake with whipped frosting. In fact i am going to order one for may 9Th BIRTHDAY ... i don't know why anyone would go somewhere else to order a cake, i am forever their customer~ THANK YOU.

Everyone that i know always gets their cakes from Lindy's. They are delicious and they are really cute! The cakes are so moist and always get eaten at my parties. Once we tried their cakes we haven't gotten our cakes from anywhere else. And they are close to my house!

I called Lindy's cake shop 3 weeks in advance to pre-order a cake for my daughter's birthday party. On the day of the party I called to pick up the cake and their was no answer. I started calling at one o'clock. No one answered, no one called me. When she called me the following Monday she stated that she tried to call me on Saturday and their was no call on my records, then she lied and said she tried to call me Sunday and she even stayed in her shop waiting for me to come, but their was no call on my phone until Monday Morning. I asked her then if she could make a cake for my three year old on Saturday and she told me no, even though I pre-ordered three weeks ago. She has horrible customer service and she is a LIAR!!! I would not recommend any one to order anything from her.

Every cake I have ever order was done perfectly to my satisfaction. They are very moist and delious and fresh, compared to the ones that you get at the stores that are shipped frozen and set out to thraw before they are decorated.

My family and many of our friends have used Lindy's for several years. We have never been disappointed in the taste of a Lindy's cake. We have had many issues with the decorating in the past couple of years. I was very specific when placing my last 3 cake orders, even providing napkins / pictures and stating what I did NOT want....but all 3 came out wrong. One was for a bridal shower - I was so upset and embarassed! One had the exact colors that I told them I did not want anywhere on or around the cake. I have always enjoyed Lindy's cakes, and I still do on un-important ocassions. If I need a cake more to my decorating specifications, I order it elsewhere for the more important celebrations.

For my wedding shower, the hostess purchased the cake from Lindy's-it was so good! I found the cake to be moist and the icing to be not too too sugary sweet. Then for my birthday this year, my sister in law purchased the cake again from Lindy's and it was the same as the time before-delicious! I think the only thing I would mention is that with both cakes, the decor seemed a little behind the times. I think you would have to be very specific when describing how you want the cake to look. Not a huge deal in the scheme of things, though. The cakes themselves ae wonderful!

Lindy's Country Cupboard Cake shop offers so many nice cakes. They can personalize your childs birthday cake. Why go to a chain where the cake is the same as the last birthday persons. They can make a unique and wonderful cake for almost hte same price. I really like the variety they offer. They are so nice and helpful too.
