Several years ago I had one of the worse experiences of my life with this company. Once they had a deposit they ignored me, then billed for work they hadn't done. I have never before been treated so poorly by a company and with so many employees all showing me same "who gives a damn" attitude. You might as well put your money in a pile and burn it rather than deal with them. Seriously, if you can't find anybody else to do the job, do it yourself before you even consider getting involved with this bunch.

Pauline,

Thank you for your kind words about our past working experience we appreciate your business. We apologize about this past window installation. Had we foreseen the extent of the insect infestation in that wall we would have directed you to the exterminator sooner. Since it was easier for him to remove the infestation, fix the rot and install the window we agreed with your choice to have him do it all at once. We would have preferred to install the window ourselves but in an effort to keep a good working relationship we agreed to let the other man do the work because we thought that was what you wanted. Please let us know if there is anything you need.

Regards,

Northwest Window & Door Co.

This business was excellent in the past but this time they really let me down. They cut a hole in the wall and didn't complete the work or hang the window. They promised to do the work in one day. It has been two days already.

I had to hire another contractor to do the work.

To our valued friends and customers.
We value our clients. You are why we are in business and we know that. We try to resolve any issue quickly and fairly. We are thankful for the large amount of referral and repeat customers we have.
Please don??t be discouraged by the malicious attacks of a few.
Malika knows about the lawsuit because she was involved in it. We requested the courts make the poster take down knowingly false and malicious statements. The court did. We did not seek punitive damages, although we could have. We simply wanted her to stop posting lies. She is right in that we have been involved in 4 lawsuits. She was one of the four. We tried exhaustively to settle the matter. She refused. There was no reasoning with this person. We pleaded with her to stop before she caused herself harm. She refused all attempts. The judge found her completely in the wrong and ruled for us on all matters involved.
In another case, our client thought we should be responsible for dry rot we found in his home. We showed it to him as soon as it was discovered and he had someone else fix it. We then completed our work (which he said in court his friends loved and complemented him on). He said he felt since we found the dry rot we should be responsible for it because if we had not found it he would not have had to fix it. This was flawed thinking and we did not agree. The judge did not agree with him either. He dismissed the case. The other two are similar and I would be happy to show you the decisions. We all know difficult people. We had four out of the nearly 4,500 jobs we did during that three year period.
Please know that this person has written negative review under multiple names over the last four years. Because the review sites pull from each other these posting seem to multiply the negative reviews.

Dear Thomas,
We appreciate your feedback and tried to look you up in our customer database however, we cannot find you. When we search ??ThomasA? the only customer we find is a Thomas McAndrew who also wrote a similar post on another review site around the 8/30/11 date. Is this a continuation of that post? It appears you are posting the same story under different names on this site (Jim A, Thomas A, Seattle Homeowner A).
We would love the opportunity to assisit you and resolve any of your concerns. Please note that all of our customers have the option to a construction agreement with no deposit and no progress payments until the project is complete, if they sign a financing agreement. The financing agreement is through a bank or credit union and is our protection that after we complete the work to your satisfaction, we will be paid. I can assure you our payment structure and deposit system is fair and is to protect both you as a consumer and us as a business (there is a detailed description in the TomMc review response located below as to why we have deposits). Please consider these are Custom Ordered Materials specifically made for your home and design. With no financial interest, a customer could walk away and leave us with material s we could not sell to anyone else.
Also, I can assure you our sales staff do not write reviews for our company. If this were true we would have much higher ratings! ? For the past 20 years, we have sent out rating sheets to our customers after work is completed and ask them to send the sheet back to us. We have hundreds of these available for viewing. We have starting asking our customers if they would mind writing their review online. Hopefully, this will build a more balanced view of our company online.
Again, please feel free to contact us at 425-412-4732. The longevity of a 20 year old company comes with dedication to customer service. We would love the opportunity to assist you.

Customer Service is very important to us. We have decided potential customers might be interested in our responses. This was our response to the BBB about our resolution with Tom before the BBB even notified us of a complaint:
We are a reputable company that is locally owned and operated and has strong ties to the community.
We strive to provide high quality products at an excellent value to our customers. Accordingly, we deal with all types of people in the course of our business. Some ethical, some not. I believe Mr. Mc Andrew is a reputable/ethical person. I do believe an explanation of our policies would be helpful though.
During the past twenty years we have had customers who have had legitimate issues that have lead us to refund their deposits after the statutory rescission period has expired. These reasons include lost jobs, transfers, and health issues, including one customer who passed away from respiratory problems and even one couple whose adult children were the victims of violent crime. We have encountered many people who became the victims of circumstance and we have gladly refunded their deposits.
However, we have also had unscrupulous people who have tried to take advantage of us over the years. These include a man, who decided to divorce his wife in the middle of a project, and then tried to stick us with custom products he ordered. He tried to claim he never ordered them, although he had personally ordered them. Another man ordered custom product from us and confirmed an install date while at the same time he actually sold his home and moved! If not for our deposit these would have been complete losses.
One of the most notable was a man who was building a car dealership for some ex Microsoft executives. He ordered turquoise windows for the exotic dealership. In the meantime, he stole millions from them and fled to San Diego California where he was apprehended. It took us months, but because of the deposit we required; they finally paid the balance and claimed the windows. I could go on but I??m sure you can see our point. We incur costs on behalf of those would contract with us to do projects and can be damaged when they don??t live up to their obligations.
So, when a customer wants to cancel a contract after the rescission period, we need to look at that request individually and determine the merit of such and what our damages would be to cancel the project. We feel that is reasonable. It is not our intention to take advantage of anyone; we only want to protect ourselves.
In Mr. Mc Andrew??s case, he did not let us know he wanted to cancel until about a month after his contract. I didn??t become aware of his desire until mid to late January. Accordingly, I then investigated what had transpired. I then determined that a refund was in order. With regards to tax credits, our representatives are not tax professionals and have been instructed not to provide any tax advice other than to say our products do qualify for the federal tax credit. We do not know an individual??s tax circumstance or eligibility for any credit. My investigation into this determined that it appears the sales representative did not follow our instructions and made comments of his personal interactions with the IRS. We have again had meetings about this and I have taken corrective measures to ensure this does not happen again.
I believe this matter has been resolved to Mr. McAndrew??s satisfaction. His deposit has already been refunded. I also offered to provide Mr. Mc Andrew with a $1000.00 credit should he decide to move forward with the project in 2011 which would make up the difference between the tax credit amounts available in 2010 to 2011.
Should you need any further information please let me know.
Thank you,
Northwest Window and Door Co.

Note: Our response will not post unless we give it star rating. We would rather have the ability to respond under the review.

Customer Service and our Reputation are very important to us. We make every attempt to create a customer for life. Every year we install thousands of projects and though it is our goal to please every one of our customers, some are impossible to please. For the past 20 years we have collected hundreds of hand written glowing reviews from our customers that anyone is free to view at our office. Now in the internet age where anything can be posted, we have decided potential customers might be interested in how we respond to unhappy customers.

Ms. Walls has posted this review to every review site on the web. She joined Angie's List to post also. Please read our side of the story. Her postings are a promised attempt to extort us that she is living up to.
The crux of her issue is that she insisted we do work we did not contract for and did not charge for.
1.She wanted us to put up a galvanized rail that was both not to code and was custom welded on the job site. First, we cannot install a non-code complicate railing or we are liable for it. Second, we are not welders and could not have done the work had the rail been up to code. That is why it was excluded from our work. That was unacceptable to her.
2. We were to move an existing patio cover to a new location when we built the sunroom. When we began to dissemble the cover we informed the Wall??s it was rusted through where the fasteners had been and could not be reused. Again unacceptable to her.
3.Per the contract, we were to leave the back wall of the house sided. She decided she would prefer drywall. We wrote a change order and charged $300 to strip the wall, hang drywall and apply a first coat of plaster. We put this in writing so there is no need to ??remember what someone told me?. We gave her a great value for the work performed. Please do look at the drywall pics she posted. We performed exactly as specified.
4.We did not delay the project. It took a little longer because of existing site conditions. They framed the existing deck with 3x6??s. Totally uncommon. We had to go round and round with the permitting office because of the non-standard materials used to build the existing deck. Also, when we could not reuse the rusted cover, we ordered another roof panel for them and had to wait for that to arrive.
The Wall??s have a beautiful new sunroom at a great price. She is just a person who insists it be her way or there will be a price to pay. Fortunately, of the over 1,500 jobs we do a year the vast majority of people are reasonable and pleasant to work with. However, some people love to be difficult. Please know we value your business and make all reasonable efforts to make you a happy customer and have hundreds and hundreds of glowing reviews to prove it.

Customer Service is very important to us. Today, where anything can be posted online we have decided potential customers might be interested in how we respond to unhappy customers. Below is our correspondence with the BBB: Mr. Keating paints a one sided story. Please read on as you will gain insight to how we really do make all reasonable efforts to take care of our valued customers. Some people are just not reasonable. Here is a time line format for the installation we performed.
9/20/11: A detailed proposal was prepared by Northwest Window & Door and signed and accepted by Mr. Keating. It described (6) six single hung vertical sliding windows and one picture window. The proposal had drawings of the windows showing the operation of the opening windows and the one picture window.
10/3/11:I performed the critical measure to take exact measurements of the windows to be replaced. At this time, Mr. Keating changed the order and deleted three of the seven windows. Because it had taken several attempts to schedule the meeting, I asked if I could measure the units he was deleting. I explained that since I was on site I could take the measurements and if he wanted to do them at some point in the future there would be no need to reschedule another critical measurement. He declined.
10/4/11:We prepared a change order deleting the three windows and sent that to Mr. Keating. We also ordered the four remaining windows to be replaced. An installation date was set for October 21, 2011 and a pre -installation letter was sent to Mr. Keating. The windows shipped from the manufacturer on Oct, 19, 2011 to the Keating residence. Mr. Keating subsequently changed the install date and we postponed the installation.
11/7/11: Mr. Keating called into the office and informed us he now wanted to add back the three windows he deleted. So a change order was prepared adding the three windows back to the contract. Another critical measure appointment was then set. Please note that the change order again describes 6 single hung windows and one picture window. (Copies attached)
11/11/11:The additional three windows were ordered from the factory. A new install date of Dec. 2, 2011 was set.
12/3/11:We installed seven windows and Mr. Keating signed a completion certificate for the job noting the work was complete.
12/6/11:Mr. Keating called into the office and said he doesn??t like two of the single hung units. He wants those to be picture units. (At this point he has met with two different measure guys, executed two change orders deleting and adding back windows all of which stated the operation of the windows) We don??t understand how through all of this he still doesn??t know what he??s buying.
12/14/11:To put this matter to rest and in an effort promote customer satisfaction we offer to replace the two units with picture units for him. We did that at no charge. Please note on the final change order we asked him to review the work so we could perform any service he needed.
April 2012:Now five months later he says he doesn??t like the trim material we use.

The trim we use is a product that is factory warranteed for 50 years. We pay more for this material and tout the fact we use it. Industry standard is primed white wood. Look at any house being built and you will see that trim. Only select builders upgrade to the Smart side material because it costs more. The factory representative from the trim manufacturer has contacted the Keating??s and offered to visit their home and inspect the installation to assure them the product is still warranted. Mr.Keating accepted the offer, then called and cancelled the appointment. No surprise given our experience with
him.I have enclosed copies of all the change orders mentioned above as well as the letter from the trim
manufactures?? representative.Even though we believed the contract was extremely clear in describing the windows and their
operation and the two change orders Mr. Keating executed only bolstered that, we still accommodated Mr. Keating and tried to resolve the matter. We asked him to inspect the work when we were installing the free picture units to ensure everything were satisfactory. No service was requested. Despite our efforts, this customer still tries to besmirch our name and the efforts we have made to satisfy him.I hope this provides clarity to the true situation. We never mislead Mr. Keating. We provided material
that exceeds industry standards and made good faith efforts to address his misunderstanding of the work that was clearly stated. We value our customers and our reputation. However, customer service cannot be without limit. To say we don??t itemize our contracts is not true. We provide detailed Information but we don??t list every type of screw, nail, window wrap or caulking we use.
If a customer wants?? that information we gladly give it to them as we use only top quality products.

Sincerely,
Northwest Window & Door Co

Northwest Window and Door recently completed installing a new Entry Door in my home and I am very pleased with the work they did. My sales rep was very helpful and not ??pushy.? My wife had very specific ideas for how she wanted our Front door to look and the sales rep (Bob I think is his name) found us exactly what we were looking for. They only do installations during the work week so I had to leave work early on our installation day to watch and do the final ??walk-through? as they call it. When I look to replace our kitchen window in the future I will definitely call them again.

Beware of this company. We purchased and had them install 12 vinyl windows in our home. They use what I feel is a deliberately deceptive order statement through their sales reps. It is a "non-itemized" one that only lists the type of windows and their size. It does not disclose any other materials they intend to use nor does their sales rep. disclose any. Thus they can conceal anything else, it's cost etc. within a strictly lump-sum price for the job they give you. When it came to the type of exterior trim they were going to use, since we had had a previous vinyl window put in by a Lowe's contractor and they very properly used real cedar trim, we assumed after all we had paid this company for the jobs, they would do the same. Unfortunately for us, it was only by accident after the job was done, that we noticed where one of their installers had gouged the trim that they had used what is known as a cedar look- alike OSB (particle board type of trim). Totally unsuitable and unacceptable for outdoor use in our very wet climate! We're certain this wasn't indicated on the order or mentioned to us because they knew this would've been a deal-killer and also , if they could get away with it, they could make a lot more money on the job. When we tried numerable times to communicate with them about this complaint we are furious about both by e-mail and voice mail, they completely ignored us(except for a brochure in regard to the cheap trim that the manufacturer admits is OSB they sent to us)Stay clear of this company because if you have a major problem with their job they are not about customer satisfaction but instead customer EVASION! We've contacted and complained to the BBB, Angie's List, State Atty. Gen. etc and will be pursuing further action as well.

Rob went the extra mile meeting me numerous times at my house looking for the best value and product for my specific situation! I didn??t feel like he tried to sell a certain product, but the best product fitting my house. I choose Andersen Windows as the best fit for my home. I had a newly built deck and wanted to replace a window with a door plus a couple other windows were old and needed upgrading. The new door and windows are gorgeous! The glass on the large picture window is pristine! The wood door modernizes my house. Very cheerful. I have a huge smile every time I come home. I enjoy sitting on the couch looking at the new door. Great Job!

I had Northwest Window and Door install a bay window from Milgard. The new window looks very nice and lets in so much more light into my living room. I chose them because the price was resonable and a nieghbor of mine had used them with no problems. The installation was good but I would have liked them to clean the window. If they would cleaned the window before they finished I would have given 5 stars. Overall, I had a good experience.

I do not recommend this company! I'm afraid to say anything bad about them. They sued one critic in court. Since 2007, they've been involved in four law suits. Please do a search about that at: https://fortress.wa.gov/lni/bbip/Search.aspx

We didn't learn of all the complaints this company has received for stiffing people for thousands of dollars until after we signed with them. The common theme is that they don't begin a job or finish work they've started after weeks and months of stalling. My hunch is they over sell their services, then can't deliver on their many promises and have to juggle their customers. If they would only be up front that they cannot really begin your work for several months and give you the choice of signing with them with that knowledge. Now I've heard story after story like my own of people being strung along, their calls going unanswered, and having to appeal to authorities to get even part of their money back. They don't really seem to care. They have your money and a contract that allows them to keep it. Never trust these people. They seem nice and well-meaning, but you will ultimately regret having to deal with them. It doesn't have to be this way. There are reputable window and door contractors around Seattle who chose to be honest, up-front, and trustworthy in the way they do business. This is not one of them. We learned the hard way.

Update to my January 31st Posting:

I wanted to provide an update. After sending complaints to the BBB and the State Attorney General (who was awesome by the way), I was finally able to get my initial deposit credited back after threatening to go to court. NW Window and Door contacted me after that fact and offered to do the service with a discount after my experience. But after going through all that for 3+ months and not thinking I??d get my deposit back I have no interest.

The irony of this whole thing is that if the customer service hadn??t been so bad, I would have those windows installed long ago. Instead, I went back to Pella (who I initially turned down). Their pricing was actually better and their customer service was out of this world! I got 2 windows installed and the whole process was just fantastic, from sales, to installation, and follow up. It was like night and day.

I just had a fantastic experience, start to finish. The sales man was highly consultative. I received far more information and guidance from her than the two other companies I received bids from.

The communication was great throughout the process - from bid, to scheduling, to getting the job done. The person who answers the phone was always able to answer my questions.

The team of installers were prompt, polite, and pleasant. They kept my house tidy during the process, cleaning up at the end of each day. (It took all week, as I was replacing all windows and doors). They even worked in a sudden downpour of rain one day, just to get the big window in (so I wouldn't be stranded with a gaping hole). The office called to reconfirm each time the staggered payments were being charged to my card. They even sent a lovely thank you letter at the end.

I've already referred a friend to them. I am very confused by the negative comments here as I received no hint of any of these problems. Makes me wonder if competitors are posting bogus reviews. Who knows...

This is a tale of 2 senior citizens who just wanted a nice sunroom and some windows. This was the most frustrating time in our lives dealing with this company. We had 2 contracts each signed before any work started. It took 3 months to get 2 windows installed and 1 window replaced. It took 4 months to get a sunroom installed and a patio deck covered. There were many problems caused by the sales man making promises that the company would not fulfill. We were unable to get in contact with company representatives when we called. We left voice mails which were not returned in a timely manner if at all. The work was done if fits and starts over 4 months. They kept scheduling the workers on other jobs and not returning for weeks. Most of the work was acceptable if not excellent. However, many little things were shoddy and had to be redone only after we complained. One company representative was rude whenever we had to contact them. They kept making promises on getting workers on the job and then breaking them. We were going to use existing parts of the deck cover to cover another part of the deck. This was part of the original contract. When the workers damaged the cover taking it down, we had to pay more to have new materials for the deck cover. They removed the deck flooring and cover before building materials were even ready and rain leaked into a workroom below the deck. A worker suggested an improvement to the sun room interior wall. We had a very hard time getting through to the salesman to get a change to the contract. We paid more for the change. Two weeks later when the workers came to work on the job they thought the job was finished and wanted a check. They were going to do the work without the changes. After a discussion they did some and then left. We had to wait several more weeks before they finally came to continue the work. The whole process wore us down to the point we paid them off just to get them gone. We paid the final payment under duress. I think they were of the opinion we were seniors and they could wear us down. Guess what they did. We are finishing some of the work promised (but not specifically spelled out in the contract). We had to fight with them all along the way but they finally did everything on the contract with some assistance from us. We would suggest you give it a long hard thought before you contract with them, but if you do, make sure everything promised and you want and pay for is spelled out in fine detail on the contract. You can expect bad customer service and attitudes by company representatives but may get what you want.

We got our Patio door from Northwest Window and Door, and we really liked working with them. We spent 7 weeks going 'round and 'round with home depot, when we finally realized they were going to sell us a door that didn't fit. I knew a real dealer would be better. We called and they sent someone out the next day! Our sales rep, Randy was great and made us feel very comfortable about the door we chose. It was the fast responces from the service department and the installation method that really sold us. I am looking to replace a couple windows next winter and i will definetly use Northwest Window and Door again.

Careful consumers will be wary of Northwest Window & Door's poor business practices and resulting multiple complaints to BBB. How a company who forced 14 customers to have to make formal complaint to BBB before they responded to take appropriate action rates an "A" is puzzling -- and I think perhaps misleading. Unfortunately the high rating helped gain my trust and I contracted with them. Careful consumers will be wary of pleasant sales people who offer deep discounts for signing while they are there to do an estimate. They will also carefully read the fine print on the back of the contract. Homeowners who have done business with more reputable companies will notice it does not resemble the standard contracts most licensed contractors use. Their contract terms put customers at a distinct legal disadvantage if a problem arises. It also does not include an agreement about a specific timeline for the work to start or be completed. This allows the company representatives to say anything, even mislead a customer's expectations, but no redress for the customer if work is not started after many months and phone and email inquiries are ignored. The company also charges 25% down instead of the standard 10% if cash is paid instead of company financing being used. The contract allows the company to keep 25% of the total job if the customer cancels, even if no work has been done. The company has no incentive for customer service once the contract is signed. A careful consumer will sidestep the possibility that they will have similar difficulties or possibly lose thousands of dollars from trusting this company. I would recommend you find a different contractor.

These guys are just the worst in my opinion! Be careful if you sign up for a deposit. They charge you 50% upfront, and if you decide to cancel after the third business day, they keep your whole deposit.

Watch out for Arnie. As someone who once served in the military, I thought that he honored the common bond among us servicemen. I was mistaken. After my money cleared, he disappeared, and continually tried to sell me when I told him repeatedly that I wanted to cancel.

Read item #13 (there are two #13's this is the second one) in small print in the back: " In the event of an attempt to cancel this contract after the 3 day rescission period allowed by law, and contractor accepts such late notice, any and all down payments or 25% of the total contract to include applicable sales tax, whichever is greater, will be liquidation costs for cancellation of contract."

Yep, you pay 50% down, and on the 4th day you are in their hands. And let me tell you their customer service drops off the face of the earth after they get your money.

I was also told that they would ensure that I could get the 2010 tax credit by keeping the paperwork in 2010. Arnie specifically told me he spoke with the IRS and it was ok. It isn't! If you claim it and are audited, be prepared. It is not the right thing to do.

Check out the better business bureau. Not sure how they keep their rating with the large number of compliants in the past 3 years. Get educated and know what you are getting into.

Hi there, a followup to my last post. NW did complete the job and I am reasonably satisfied they are complete. There are still concerns over a few of the windows but darn it, they are already in and a tear out and re-set could not help. The boss guy, Terry was responsive and sent out a top hand, Vince. Vince, the poor guy had alot to wrap up but handled the issues like a pro. Ask for him by name for your lead.

Windows are all basically the same. Once you pick your brand you need an installer. NW is usually really good but hey are feeling the economy pinch too. They bid my job on a razor thin margin (it WAS a great price) but used their new guys to do it. 3 $hit hot installers would have knocked this job out in no time and left a happier customer. Instead we had 4 new guys that took forever and ate up NW's profit margin. I don't mean to ramble about business management practices but this is a reoccuring theme throughout large and small companies. Find good help, pay them a good wage and they will make you money. Hire hacks and they will flub jobs, piss off customers and chew up your profit margins.

Oh well, job is done, ask for Vince to lead your crew. Three stars for old time sake, a great save by Vince, understanding from Terry and a really good price. Points off for the new guys.

I was a prior customer of NW who did a home for me in 2007 that I was pleased with. They bid my current job of 23 windows and so far have really sucked a$$. It appears they replaced most of their experienced installers with Johnny of the street and the quality shows. hack hack hack. .250" gaps at mitre corners, forgetting to flash headers, Nailing trim with big a$$ galvanized framing nails instead of finish. Their crews are pleasant enough just lacking in basic carpentry skills and quality control.
I will repost a follow up when/if they complete. Just do your own due diligence. I have photo documented the job and suggest you do too. YOU will be responsible to ensure the job is done right because the newbie installers do NOT know what they are doing. So far the managment has been responsive but I am really concerned with window leaking and failure due to the poor quality of install. JMHO.

I just had 6 Triple pane windows installed by Northwest Window and Door about 3 weeks ago and think they're great. It really has helped wiith energy conservation. My salesmen was Paul. He was fantastic, really knowledgable and low pressure. I've already told Northwest Window that they could use me as a reference and have told my neighbor about them. Everyone I worked with, Paul and the work crew, were very pleasent. We are happy.

I was very impressed with Northwest Window &Door Co. They were the lowest
est. The salesman Randy seemed very knowledgeable and offered some very
good suggestions. The crew kept to schedule, very skillful , cleaned up, and
made sure I was happy before asking for final payment. I would recommend
them anytime.

We had a sliding door placed on our top floor deck by NW Window and Door. From the start we leak problems during periods of high winds and rain. Water leaked in from the top and bottom of the door. We used expensive leak detection services and have had drywall repair. The company was good about repairing the leak at the base of the door recently. They don't respond to our letters and don't seem interested in paying for the damages. We currently have some drywall damage from the improperly installed door.

I had six windows replaced and found the whole experience was great,
Randy the salesperson was on time ,low pressure, and a fair price. His
est. was right in the middle. The installers did a great job, the windows look great
and I even got a followup call to be sure I was happy.

We weren't completely crazy about the sales rep, Randy - he did not seem to be very knowledgeable about the products, never had the right samples available, and was very difficult to reach (we played lots of phone tag). If contractors weren't hungrier for business these days (vs. a year or two ago), I wonder if we would have ever completed the transaction.

Once we finally paid and set the installation date, things went very well. A crew of six arrived promptly at 8 AM on the appointed start date. Matt P. was the foreman in charge, and he was largely responsible for our fantastic experience. Although the individuals on the team varied widely in experience and skill, Matt ensured that the work was done efficiently and that any problems were addressed immediately. I was particularly thankful for Matt's attention to detail - several times I saw him redoing work that needed finessing or heard him ask another worker to reinstall trim that was done sloppily. He was also refreshingly willing to correct any problem the moment it was brought to his attention, and he never once tried to convince me that what I was concerned about - whether functional or aesthetic - was not a problem.

With regard to the other reviewer's comment about "Camron," I should report that he arrived on the last day of the install and was very rude to his co-workers. He also really dragged his heels when asked by Matt to fix a window that was "catching" as it was slid closed. Luckily, though, Matt was the one in charge of our job.

Overall, the job was completed professionally and on-time, and our new wood double-hung Andersen windows are absolutely stunning!!! The cleanup crew was also fantastic, vacuuming and picking up debris in the house at the end of each day. And the yard cleanup crew came within two business days of the end of the job (ahead of schedule) to load the wood waste and old windows and haul them away. Not a scrap of debris was left.

We were apprehensive about spending so much on this one project, but now we're really glad we did.
