So Close To East Coast!
If you've ever had a cheesesteak from Philly, or in New Jersey (where I grew up), you know that *nobody* makes them correctly out here.
But then there's Jersey Joe's. They are the closest thing to an authentic cheesesteak the way I like 'em that I've found on the peninsula. Ask 'em for provolone, mushrooms and onions (the Jersey way, IMHO), and if they happen to have YooHoo in stock (they used to...) so much the better!
Plenty of parking, sports on the TVs (projection screen for big events), decent seating, and easy access from 101 South... I love my Jersey Joe's!
PROS: Real east-coast style cheesesteaks
CONS: Not always 'fast' (but then, a good cheesesteak takes time)
Good cleaning but old facility
My first impression of the Hillsdale Carwash was not a good one. It's housed in an old building on a site that's littered with cars in various stages of being detailed. There were so many cars when I was there that I had to wait for one to be moved before I could enter the car wash.
I was also surpised by the price. It cost $17 for a basic inside and outside wash, which is about $5 more than what I'm used to in Southern California, but that might be the going rate in the area.
The waiting area is small and uncomfortable with most chairs in a small patio unprotected from the baking sun.
My experience was partially saved with quality of cleaning. The car was sparkling clean inside and out.
PROS: Good cleaning
CONS: Outdated, uncomfortable facility
