I would say I'm the biggest head case when it comes to dentists. I've had a few bad experiences that made me absolutely terrified to drive by a dentist let alone go to one for treatment. My wife finally made an appointment with his office and got me there somehow and he put me at ease. He always fully explained what was going to happen, and made sure I was not in pain and always relaxed and comfortable. His office staff is awesome, they are a big reason why I love going there. I never thought I would say that I enjoy going to the dentist but it's so easy to do after a few visits there. I went from having to be brought in to making my own appointments and going by myself. My phobia is gone, and I have to thank Dr. Lisko and his staff for it!

I'm in my early 50's and after a lifetime of every 6 month dental visits for cleanings and checkups, I had neglected my teeth for 4+ years. When a filling finally popped-out after eating SOFT bread, it was time to resume good dental care. I had lived in a city almost 400 miles away from Collingswood, NJ and simply loved my dentist. When I moved to NJ, I had a very bad experience with one dentist before settling on another. I wasn't thrilled with her, either but she was better than the other guy who I should've sued for malpractice. Then I moved, still in NJ, but didn't want to drive the 20 miles to my dentist. She would complain about using the nitrous oxide - laughing gas - which I absolutely need since I have ZERO pain tolerance and super high anxiety.
When I found Dr. Lisko, I was very nervous thinking of the bad experiences I had with Dr. Pain and Dr. Complain. Dr. Lisko understood my fear of pain and my fear of dental work. He put me at ease by giving me dental options for the work needed, by explaining every step as he performed them so I knew what was going on and most important, by making sure I had the nitrous oxide and the topical novacaine prior to injections and drilling.
I used to fear needing a root canal which other dentists had said I needed. Dr. Lisko explained the necessity of the root canals to save my teeth. I agreed and didn't experience any pain (some after-work discomfort which is normal, but I took Advil and it alleviated the pain). Now, after 1-1/2 years with Dr. Lisko I have complete trust and faith in him. If I moved again I will keep him as my dentist, up to about 75 mile commute one way---because he's worth the drive. That's how much I trust this guy and value the work he does. Dr. Lisko takes pride in his work, is personable but professional, and treats me like a human being who has fears and concerns. I have Delta Dental insurance and there's never been a problem with that either.
I continue to recommend Dr. Lisko to friends and strangers alike!

I had an extreme fear of dentists and had put off going for quite a few years. My brother had seen Dr. Lisko and told me about him so I decided to give it a try. I have been able to keep up on my dental care and would have to say that my fears have been alleviated.

I have terrible teeth. I mean 3 crowns and over 20 fillings by 28 terrible. I have never worked with a dentist that I was more pleased with. Dr. Lisko was a teammate in my fight to have my teeth at 50. He performed routine maintance on my fillings in order to reduce the likelyhood that small cavities would develop at the filling edges. He carefully discussed all my treatment options with me and explained the risks/rewards involved in each choice. He also has a fantastic staff and I never has any issues with billing or my insurance. They took care of everything. I've had a LOT of dental work with a LOT of dentists. I stayed with Dr. Lisko for 3 years and only left his practice because I moved to another state. I would absolutely recommend Dr Lisko to anyone.
