I was expecting my first kid in the USA and was very nervous, since I did not have any family here. I was searching for an OB doctor in the phone book and came upon Dr. Merchant?s advertisement. I called corporate office and the staff there made an appointment for me the very next day, I was really shocked that I could get in so expeditiously, the other offices were rude and told me that the doctor could not see me for the next 5 weeks.

The receptionist who made the appointment was very patient and informative and gave me excellent directions to the medical office. Me and my husband felt so nice on entering the office, the staff were so friendly and sweet and we felt so warm and welcome. While waiting in the waiting area, we were given a welcome baby bag and a book on pregnancy for our ready reference. On meeting Dr. Merchant for the first time, I was amazed at this doctor?s ability and professionalism at interacting with a new patient in such a friendly and compassionate manner. She was very understanding and cleared up all our doubts and fears. I was so happy to have met such a good doctor that my husband and I kept praising the practice to all our friends.

Its been 5 years now and with my second baby on the way, there would be no other doctor but Dr. Merchant for me and my family. I have referred about 9-10 friends who in turn have thanked me. Dr. Merchant is a great doctor and I wish that there were more doctors like her.

I moved from Florida about 2 years back and wanted a good and reputable OB/GYN, my friends highly recommended Dr. Merchant and her associates and I thank them for doing so even today.

My first visit was excellent, the frontdesk staff were so efficient and knowledgeable, they really treated me as a person not as a patient with a number. Dr. Merchant was so friendly and informative and put me at ease. See I had heavy bleeding and menstrual cramps and had been treated for endometrioses but did not find any improvement. Dr. Merchant was very patient and listened and answered all my concerns in a very professional manner. She suggested a biopsy at my next appointment at the office.

Before my biopsy, I had a number of lab tests done and during the visit the medical assistant assured me that all would be well since I was in very good hands with Dr. Merchant. At the time of my biopsy, I was very nervous but Dr. Merchant was very gentle and kind and explained the procedure and its aftermath to me. I can gratefully say that I have never encountered such a wonderful doctor who treats her patients with dignity and compassion. I for one will always be a faithful patient of Dr. Merchant?s and urge everyone out there to come and experience this wonderful care.
