I really like Dr Rodgers and am grateful for my friend referring me to him. He is compassionate, understanding, very caring, and willing to listen to what I have to say. I suffer from long term health issues and chronic pain, and I am very grateful that his knowledge extends beyond the scope of most doctors. He is definitely open minded and thinks outside of the box. He's with it when it comes to alternative medicine, and is always taking advantage of opportunities to educate himself in things that he knows will help us.
My only complaint is with his office staff. He is my only doctor that will not call me back when I leave a message for him .. and that is only because I can't get past his office staff. I request information from them, and they never call me back. I end up having to call more than once about the same thing in order to get my answer. I ask them to call my health insurance company (as my other doctors have always done) to get some info for me because they have additional medical info needed that I don't have, and they never do. I end up having to call them myselves. I ask them for what I need and they never call back, so I waste a lot of time because of them. Wish he had the quality office staff that would match the quality and caring service that he provides.

I like Dr.Rodgers because he is very understanding and very reassuring. I don't have insurance, so he is fair with me about the price. Which is far less than any other Doc I have been to. He also is smart, not just nerd smart but commonsense smart. I went through some rough times that he helped me through, he is genuine and truly cares about his patients. He has been instrumental in getting me to where I am at today, which is happy. In short, he is a Stud. I think that if anyone is unhappy with him it is because they are people that nobody can seem to please.

I really like Dr Rodgers. He is very caring and listens to what you are saying. He really helps when you do not have insurance. Dr Rodgers is open minded and thinks outside of the box when it comes to long term illness. I have also seen Dr Morrill when Dr Rogders was not available and he was just as professional and caring as Dr Rodgers.
I am not impressed with the office staff. I find it hard to get messages to Dr Rodgers. They are very short when you call and act like it is an incovenice that you called. I have been given wrong information, no call backs for days, and they have lost important messages.

Dr. Rodgers is interesting. If you are looking for a regular family dr, he'd be good. If you are looking for one who is accepting of extended breastfeeding, family bed, homebirth, delayed vaccinations, homeschool etc, he's ok too.

When I told him that I wanted to delay some of our vaccinations, he gave me a little lecture about the advantages of vaccination then admitted that his child isn't vaccinated yet & that as long as I'm making an informed choice, it's ok for me to delay.

The office has trouble keeping the billing straight. And they office frequently runs a little behind schedule. I'm also not impressed with his staff's understanding of pediatric patients. They forget to measure the baby's head and things like that.

But, overall, he's a pretty decent doctor who doesn't give me too much grief about my less than standard ideas.
