Craig A. Hartman, DO

Dr Hartman, is a caring doc who understands his patients needs and wants. I was told by a nurse that works with him in the labor room that he is a "functioning adult"- which means most docs she works with are not....a big compliment coming from her I think.
He has a great bedside manner and listens well.

Hartman and his staff are excellent! My husband and i were having our first child and he would answer all questions and concerns. He would spend as much time with us as needed. There would never be longer than a 5 minute wait. Staff is always friendly and outgoing. Understandable that he does abortions, it is his job, and he only does them for women that want them. People who don't agree with abortions should put they're beliefs aside because hes an amazing doctor and just because he does abortions doesnt mean he doesnt have your babys best interest at heart. I give him 5 stars and will def go back to him for my next pregnancy.

after moving to LV i had a very difficult time finding a gyno who answered questions fully, spent more than 3.5 minutes with me and waited while i explained my symptoms instead of cutting me off. this guy is good. i continued to use him when my company switched policies and he is not on the list.
never have to wait more than 15 minutes, staff is very nice, professional and courteous.
i have gone in for routine care, problems, emergenciesand follow up and was attended to in a great fashion. would recommend and send my mother, daughter etc. i very much appreciate his knowledge and eagerness to provide options.
as close to "old-school" kind of care that i think you'll find today.

I was going to him till I found out he also does abortions. If the same age baby in some other woman's body is bought with a few hundred to be aborted, WHY would mine be safe???
I don't care how "nice" he "seemed," to me it is all a lie. I am completely grossed out thinking I trusted him and let him even hear my baby's heart beat. I cannot figure out how he determines what baby is worth caring for and what one is worth killing - just the intent of the mother?
I cannot understand WHY a person would be delivering babies both dead and alive - all for money.
How do I trust him for my prenatal care, and think he won't actually decide abortion would be best and cause something to happen so that he could then charge me to abort that same baby?
Maybe I'm old fashioned. I prefer my OB/GYN to value life and not be able to be bribed to end it.Granted, they are very difficult to find...but I'm looking now...almost wished i didn't ask...

Dr.Hartman, has been my doctor since 2005. I came to him when I got pregnant with my second child who i unfortanitly lost, Dr. Hartman was so kind and caring in my time of need. So There was no doubt in my or my husband mind when we got pregnant with our 3rd child and then 4th child we knew who we was going to and that would be Dr. Hartman he takes the time to answer any and all questions no matter how ridiculas you might think they are he does not rush your visit and makes you feel very confortable, now that my husband and I are going on our 5th child we once agian knew who we was going to, mind you we live far from his office but we dont care cause we know with him we will be getting the best care we could possibly get. He is 100% respectful and i recommend Dr.Hartman to anyone who would ask!!! My personal experience with him is awsome and would not go to anyone else. His office staff is wonderful they always have a smile on there face and are always willing to answer all questions that you may have there wonderful with my children when ever i bring them with me and take the time out to play with them. I would recomment this wonderful Doctors office once agian to anyone and everyone and i know you wont regret it you will recieve the bestcare and you will be respected all the way and one more thing i would like to add is i have never waited long to get seen by the doctor or to brought to the back i have waited maybe 10 minutes or less and thats another thing i love cause i know my day wont be stopped by sitting at a doctors office for hour's so thank you doctor Hartman for being a wonderful man and thank you for bringing my boys in to this world and soon to be my next child......

Dr Hartman delivered my son in November 2005 and he was awesome! Planned C-section. His staff is awesome and it was always relaxing going to his office for my appts. The staff was also really good with my daughter, who usually attended my appts with me. They always let her be invloved in little things, like helping with the blood pressure cuff. Would Reccommend Dr. Hartman to everyone I know!

Back in 2006 I was a new bride, newly pregnant, new to Las Vegas-and I had extreme morning sickness. I had no doctors here as I had just moved from the East Coast. After calling many, many other offices, Dr Hartman's office staff were one of the few offices that was kind, friendly and listened to my questions. (something of a rarity here in Las Vegas, as I have discovered) Throughout my high-risk pregancy (over 35 yrs. old and with a scary AFP test result) and a breech delivery via c-section in '07, he and his staff were always kind, friendly, understanding, were always willing to hear my questions, and give clear, honest answers. Dr Hartman delivered my 2nd baby in '08 via c-section, with a second high risk pregnancy. Both c-sections went well, with no complications or infections afterwards. I strongly recommend both Dr Hartman and his entire staff. They are one of the bright spots in medical care in Las Vegas!

I delivered my daughter in March of 2008 with Dr. Hartman. I attempted to have a natural childbirth and labored for over 38 hours until complications arose and a c-section had to be performed. Dr. Hartman respected my wishes to have a natural childbirth and was completely supportive of it during my entire pregnancy and labor. He never pressured me to get an epidural or to medically intervene in any way. When the complications arose requiring the C-section, I was confident that my daughter and I were safe in his hands (he even hugged me after all that I had been through and told me that everything was going to be okay...something I desperately needed at that time). I have been to many OBGYNS in town and know that Dr. Hartman and his office personnel (which are EXCEPTIONAL and know me by name) are one of a kind.

This doctor is a contradiction. He seemed to have a nice ad in the yellow pages, so I called to ask if he was pro-life and his secretary said "yes". Then when making an appointment, she asked if I was carrying to full term. When I asked why she'd ask, she says he does both: delivery and abortions. Perhaps I asked the wrong question, but don't deceive people when they ask. Just be aware with this doctor he walks into one room to bring a life into the world, and then into another to take it away. The previous review said "he has your baby's best interest at heart" well how does he determine which babies are worthy of his interest. He is not the only doctor in Vegas to do abortions, I am just dissappointed that they are deceptive about it. I'm not criticizing his care, I have no experience in that, he may be good at what he does both in life and death.

Dr. Hartman delivered my daughter in April of this year and my entire experience with both him and his staff was fabulous. Dr. Hartman is very educated and truly has your baby's best interests at heart. I will never go to another OB as long as I'm living in Las Vegas!
