Dr. Hebb is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered!! I decided that she was the OB for me when my friend went through a very difficult pregnancy, c-section delivery, and then difficult recovery due to a pre-exsisting condition which made her high risk to begin with. When I saw the care that was given to her from start to finish after a 2 week "touch and go" hospital stay after the delivery of her son, I was blown away. I said to myself then, "I must have her as my OB" and she didn't dissapoint! After having her deliver all three of my children, and taking care of all four of us from start to finish, I can't say enough. I wound up having an emergency c-section with my first and she was with me every step of the way, making the right call when things suddenly took a turn for the worst when my daughter went into fetal distress. My subsequent c- sections, she held my hand as I had anethesia and was very, very, thourough with my prenatal testing and care. She is very conservative and careful, and I always trusted the decisions she would make. She even helped me find my BRILLIANT pediatrician Dr. Barnaby Starr but that is a review for another day. Ladies, if you are looking for someone who is careful, conservative, well read, intelligent, and delivers babies at a top notch hospital, than Dr. Hebb is your gal!!!

I have been Dr. Hebb's patient for several years. I discovered a lump in my breast. Her staff scheduled me to visit her the next day. Dr. Hebb felt the lump and showed concern. She scheduled me to have a biopsy the same day. She personally met me at the lab to be sure they had all my information. The following week I received a call from her that the biopsy was benign and the lump went away. I was and still am impressed with her pro-active approach to my condition and I highly recommend her. She is thorough and professional.

After finding out we were pregnant in December I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hebb as my primary OB. Unfortunately, during a sonogram 3 days after our first prenatal appointment we learned that the baby had stopped growing several weeks ago. Dr Hebb was able to schedule me for the D & C procedure 2 days after the sonogram. She fully explained the procedure to me and my husband and answered all of our questions thoroughly. The surgery went extremely well however 2 days later I went back to the hospital after feeling nauseous with cramping and bleeding. We determined that because my uterus is retroverted there was a bit of tissue remaining and another D & C needed to be completed. Dr Hebb was extremely sympathetic and again gave us great explanations of what was going on and what she could do to make it better.

Directly before the general anesthetic set in Dr Hebb was holding my hand and assuring me everything was going to be OK. Dr Hebb has a fantastic bedside manner and the nursing staff she works with are top notch. I felt so cared for during this scary and devastating time. Highly recommend Dr Hebb and can't wait to see her again for my next pregnancy!

I had to have a "emergency c-section" because GBMC has faulty equipment!!!!!!! The monitors which monitored my contractions were not working and they lost the babies heart rate MANY times which was the reason why I had to have a c-section. Their faulty equipment resulted in them having to do major SURGERY on me. The babies head was in position and crowning but their horrible equipment and nursing staff messed up.GBMC's nurses were rude during delivery and Mary in particular was just MEAN. She was pregnant at the time but no excuse; get out of the profession then. Dr. Hebb was my doctor and not present at delivery. I was not very impressed with her anyway during the whole preg. Her office staff is VERY rude as well.

Dr Hebb is friendly and the stuff, and the office give good impressions. But, in my non-standard situation of an extremely long pre-labor I got basically no support from her. We called Dr. Hebb when I was in labor saying that we might go to the hospital in the evening of that day and got no information from her that on this night she was not accessible, to have another doctor was a surprise. All these difficulties resulted in c-section, where Dr. Hebb was present, the operation was done very well, I had a very easy recovery. During my postpartum visit Dr. Hebb had a severe cold, she was washing her hands but not wearing a mask. I suspect (this cannot be proved!) that she infected me, a breastfeeding mother recovering after a c-section, with this cold. As a whole I felt that she is not really listening to a patient needs and would not recommend her.

It is difficult to get an appointment to see Dr. Hebb, even for immediate concerns like a possible infection. Wait time is long, sometimes the wait was an hour before seen by the Doctor. Dr. Hebb is personable, caring and delivers good prenatal care. Good Doctor for a typical vaginal delivery. Go across the hall if you need surgery.
