I did not see the doctor. I actually saw members of his staff.
The nurse who took the "inventory" questions was pretty rude. She did not look at me. She had her back to me, my chart on the desk, asking question after question. You'd think she would at least be courteous enough to look at me when she talked to me.
This may seem "picky" but she didn't wash her hands when she came into the room. Yet, she didn't bother to wear gloves when she touched me to take my pulse.... No, I'm not a germophobe... but I thought it was standard practice to wash before you touch a patient. I also didn't like the fact that she had a manicure with painted fingernail "tips".... so you really didn't know what was under those fingernails?!
There are more doctor's offices now in Fruit Cove.... I think I'll be switching to a new office.
