My son went to dr murphy with a very bad toothache. Dr Murphy used local anesthesia and nitrous oxide and he fixed his tooth with a nerve treatment and a filling. It has held up well and my boy didnt' even know that he received a needle. Dr Murphy is fantastic with children.
I do not recommend Dr Murphy. My neighbor first took her daughter to him and he recommended she cap the little girl's baby teeth. Yes, as in caps! Further, this was a surgical procedure in which she had to be admitted to a hospital and put under general anesthesia! When I took y daughter to him, I was appalled that he suggested the same for my daughter! I went (ran!) to another dentist for another opinion and thankfully I did. The new dentist treated the issue with no such drastic measures and all is well.
