I went to see Dr Barnett for a cyst I have on the back of my leg. When he came in to the examining room I was sitting on the examining table in my underwear and a gown. When I told him where the cyst was he basically had me just lift my leg up and sort of lean to the side to show him, rather than having me lay down to examine my leg. It made me extremely uncomfortable. It felt awkward and unprofessional. After looking under my leg for less than a second, the conversation went like this: Doctor: "its a cyst." Me: "can anything be done about it? its very uncomfortable and I hate the way it looks." Doctor, expressionless: "no." Me: "can i do anything to prevent it? is it somethign I did to cause it?" Doctor: "no" Me: "so what are my options here?" Doctor: you could do cortisone or exicision but I wouldn't recommend either. So, nothing you can do. Anything else?" all of this was said to me with not an OUNCE of warmth or any indication of compassion or empathy. The "anything else" was delivered in an irritated way. I will NEVER go back to this office. I left there feeling uncomfortable and upset.

They didn't send my insurance information to the lab so I got the full charge. They didn't return any of the three voice messages left on there answering machine (throughout a three week period). They've been rude every other time I call to ask questions regarding paperwork submitted. The doctor never explained what was going on or why and how my skin condition was caused. Absolutely the worst experience ever. STAY AWAY if you don't won't headaches.

I've been seeing Dr. Barnett for a few years for adult acne. Reception staff, nursing staff and of course Dr. Barnett are very friendly and very accomidating. Great practice.
