Dr. Dydell was the best doctor I have ever had!

When I found out I was pregnant, I was already 28 weeks along believe it or not. I struggled to find a doctor who would take me on such short notice so far along. Her office got back to me within 24 hours, and she squeezed me into an already busy schedule. Which by the way, I would have never noticed if I wasn't told this when I was trying to secure an OB, the staff was nice and Dr. Dydell was always accomendating and understanding.

My pregnancy was interesting since we only had another 12 weeks to go, but she always took the time to answer my questions and check into things I worried about. When I finally went into labor four days past my estimated due date, it was difficult for both me and baby in the time before I was emitted into the hospital (I am a small woman, under 5'2", and my baby was a BIG newborn) . When she was paged, she immediately got anethesia paged as well and mercifully allowed me an epideral at only 2 cm dilated. Her understanding of my pregnancy was personally invested and I really appreciated the understanding during labor!

I would and do recommend her to all of my friends who are planning or expecting!

I feel so fortunate to have Dr. Dydell as my OB/GYN. She took me on after a cross country move during my 8th month of pregnancy and has since delivered both of my children. The first child's birth was a little scary and she really listened to me with my concerns at the time and during the following birth of my second child. She is so competent in the delivery room and really takes the time to talk to you during the many pregnancy check-ups. I also live in Seattle and even though I don't plan to have more children, I still don't want to switch doctors or gynecology visits. She is that great. Favorite doctor of all time.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dydell's for over 6 years for female issues and for the prenatal care of my two children. It's unfortunate that some claimed to have had a poor experience. Mine has proved to be the opposite. In fact, Dr. Dydell detected a rare heart condition in my first child and she immediately made sure I was taken care of with considerate prompt attention and the transferred to the care of the appropriate physicians. She TRULY sets a fine example in the way a doctor should treat the patient and that is with compassion, dignity and professional care. I live in Seattle and although it takes sometimes 40 minutes to get to the office for appointments, it is entirely worth it....she is an awesome doc. Her nursing staff are incredibly helpful and work to make sure any questions or concerns are taken care of in a timely manner as well.

I did not have a good experience with this practice. I had been referred by my sister who did like them but maybe things changed since she had her babies 13 years ago. They were cold, not courteous, impersonal. I felt talk down to and disrespected. Dr. Isbell seemed to be attached to the idea of medical intervention with childbirth. Wait times in the office were horrible, usually 45 minutes then MAYBE 10 minutes with the Dr. My last appointment we waited 90 minutes only to be told (when my husband, very upset at this point, asked!) that "Oh, gosh, we're sorry, Dr. Isbell left for the day awhile ago." I would not recommend.

I have 4 chidren and have had 3 OB/GYNs in the past 9 years. Dr. Dydell delivered my last two children and she is without a doubt THE BEST!!! She is not only extremely competent, she is extremely personable and has the best bedside manners of any doctor I have ever had. The nurses at Evergreen also think extremely highly of her and think she is one of the best OB doctors they have. I had some complications with my last pregnancy and delivery and it was so refreshing to have her as my doctor - she always had a smile on her face, even when things got serious during my delivery. She handled it all so well and made all of the right decisions and I have a very, very healthy baby as a result. I just love her and am actually sad that I won't be having anymore babies (I think 4 is enough) because I will miss getting to see her!

I have had Dr. Dydell for my ob/gyn for 4 years. She has delivered my second and going to deliver my third child. Dr. Dydell and her staff have always been very caring and attentive to any pregnancy issues or problems. When my son was delivered he must have taken a bowel movement in the birth canal and if it wasn't for Dr. Dydell being extremely attentive during delivery he could have had a serious respiratory infection or even die. Dr Dydell right way had the nurses get the nicu doctors to the room and before I knew it he was off to the nicu to get his lungs cleared out. Also, out of the goodness of her heart she checked on me about 20 minutes after he was sent to nicu to see how I was holding up. She then went and checked on him at the nicu to let me know if he was okay. I highly recommend Dr Dydell and would trust her 100% with all of my pregnancies and female needs.

I just happen to work for Dr, Dydell and I can, with all honesty say, that I would trust her to care for myself or any of my children's healthcare needs. She is a caring and compassionate doctor, who goes out of her way to help and nurture her patients. I was stunned to see the other review on this webpage and can only attribute it to an unfortunate emotional melt-down by a patient who didn't understand the situation. My recommendation for anyone with doubts would be to check with hospital personnell, and you will find that they hold Dr. Dydell in highest regard!
