I had and appointment at the Jollyville location and it was a pleasant experience. When I arrived, the ladies who work in the front were very nice and helpful. I had a lot of paperwork to fill out, but working in a doctor's office, I wasn't expecting anything different. They checked me in immediately and I had to only wait a couple minutes for my appointment. Even though I have always had a little bit of a fear of going to the dentist my entire life, I had no problem that day. Thanks Omni Dental for making my dental experience a pleasant one!

My husband and I are new in town and we needed to find a dentist. I had an appointment today and don't know what all the negative reviews are about. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment and the staff were all very nice.

Dr. Amsili and the staff were efficient and very detailed about my dental needs. She got me in for an appointment at the last minute and was really upbeat considering I probably crashed their schedule. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone in need of a great dentist! She rocks!

In response to the patient named Trinity, I was the patient after you in the waiting room that day. I remember you because of your unusual name. I saw Dr. Amsili after you and she was very polite and knowledgeable. I had an emergency extraction and she and the staff coordinated with the staff to work me into her schedule. I was very pleased with my treatment and she displayed the true meaning of "professionalism."

Horrible! Unbelievably cramped office, never seen anything like it before in my life, claustrophobic, dirty, no privacy, noisy. Lots of staff standing around looking funky at you. Worst dental experience of my life. Dr Novak was condescending. The dental assistant and front desk staff, however, were kind-- amazing because of the conditions they have to work in, 4 stars for these employees! I was so stressed by the time I was done. I now hate my new dental insurance, Assurant, and miss my old wonderful dentist who is not on the wretched dental mill Assurant plan. Hard to believe anyone besides an Omni sock puppet would give this place more than one star.

I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Omni Dental Group from my family and friends. From my initial visit, all the staff and doctors have been so helpful and caring. The staff working in the front really helped me get all of my appointments scheduled in a timely manner. I was having problems with my insurance company not being cooperative and the accounting department was SO helpful. They called my insurance company for me and got everything straightened out. It's nice to go to a dentist office that is productive and efficient.

I had a GREAT experience at Omni Dental. I did not have to wait long at all for my appointment. Everyone had smiles on their faces and a positive attitude. The assistants were all very nice and helpful. Dr. Amsili was very accommodating and made sure that I was comfortable. He explained the procedure before performing it. I am so glad that I finally found a dentist that really does care.

Omni Dental Group is great! They were extremely helpful and caring about my dental needs. They explained any confusion I had about my insurance. They put together the best treatment plan for me. I have heard great things about this group, but I wanted to experience it for myself. I would definitely recommend Omni Dental. They were very knowledgeable and kind.

Dr. Michelle Amsili is the most horrible dentist on the planet. She poked my gums so bad, I could taste the blood, and on top of all that she requested I get 4 extractions. One of the extractions is for a wisdom tooth that never came in in the first place. Also, I went for a check up and a cleaning, but they wanted to me make another appointment for the cleaning. She was very rude and did not explain anything. Do not waste your time and money going there.

Is there a way to give a negative number of stars?! Horrible experience similar to others written on here. This office has dinosaur age equipment...no digital xrays, and their duplicating machine is out of order. Rude, argumentative staff that does not make eye contact (maybe they're embarrassed to be working there!). Waited an hour for our appt and they did not tell us they were running behind. However, they have a sign posted if you break your appt you are charged $50. Given conflicting information from the 2 different dentists we saw there on 2 different occasions...both Dr. Marc and Michelle Amsili. Demanded payment in full for the crown work they haven't even finished. Saw Dr. Swilley for a root canal and he did not return any calls on his emergency after hours # when my daughter was in severe pain afterwards.

stay away. i also waited for well over an hour in a hot, small, nasty waiting room. i found the staff to be rude. no one working there would make eye contact with any of the patients, and only conceded to turn the ac on in the waiting room after we opened the door and started fanning each other for relief. no joke.the doctor herself and the clinical help were no better. i couldn't understand what *anyone* was saying because they all muttered and murmured and didn't speak up or enunciate. when the dr finally did come over she POKED and prodded and wrote down a bunch of stuff and then ran away...without talking to me at all or even asking why i was there to see her. (it was for a broken tooth) when i asked her to come back so i could ask her some questions she told me that she wouldn't talk to me about treatment until i'd gone to the way north branch to have a panoramic x-ray. when i told her that i was in quite a lot of pain from the broken tooth she *very* begrudgingly agreed to give me a referral to an oral surgeon for an extraction.when i checked out i was given three prescriptions that were a total surprise to me, and the counter girl started asking me all sorts of questions about the things the dr. had written in my chart...but not discussed with me. it was very awkward. my appt was for 2:20. i was seated in the dental chair at 5:15. i was on the road by 5:30.don't go. get a home dentistry kit and take care of yourself. :)

We just returned from seeing Dr. Michelle Amsili and it was one of the worst experiences we've had with a dentist. I can't imagine much worse. Save yourself a big headache and stay away. The staff was great and seemed all to aware of Dr. Amsilis's shortcomings. Go elsewhere.

OMG! Where do I begin... first off, I waited for over an hour- people started to just walk out, saying how awful the service was. I sat, because I'm patient. I was lucky to get a chair too, because when I walked in there were 4 people sitting on the floor and the waiting room was small, crowed and hot. I was finally called back to a chair propped up to a neighbor chair- I could hold my neighbors hand during my cleaning if I wanted to! It reminded me of a fast freddies for teeth! Nothing was protected in plastic and the guy who took my blood pressure didn't know how to operate the machine so he decided to "just jot down and average number" because I seemed to be in good health! I was horrified! What if I had trouble during a procedure? How was he to know that I didn't have sky high blood pressure? Anyway, as he fiddled with the machines, I noticed more less -clean areas like an overflowing trashcan and sodas on countertops! I ended the session and called my husband to come get me! I will be changing my provider.

If you are looking for a great dentist in south austin, look no further than Dr. Amsili. Although she seems to whisper when she talks, which makes it hard to understand her, she is excellent. Her staff is also excellent. The special cleanings that I need are done on time and quickly. I don't spend a lot of time in the waiting room, which is great.

My husband had his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Amsili and the follow-up care was great. The staff called to check on him after the surgery and she had him come back a few time to continually check that he was healing properly.

I would definitely recommend her for your dentist. As we don't have dental insurance, price is a major concern for us. Her rates are very competitive to other local dentists.
