I have been a patient at Champlin Family Dental for over 15 years. I am thrilled with the service both my daughter and I receive from Dr. Bauer and the amazing staff. My daughter has had many teeth pulled by Dr. Bauer and I wouldn't trust my daughter's teeth with anyone else. They are all wonderful with children!

My entire family goes to see Dr. Bauer. She is awesome and my kids love her. It is a very friendly office and can't say enough great things about them. You should definitely check them out.

I had a really bad experience with this dentist. I went in to get two fillings done and she messed them both up because she was having an anxiety attack about her son's birthday party! I understand being stressed out, but then don't freaking go to work, especially if you are a dentist! The first tooth she drilled into, she hit my nerve which I could feel through two shots of novocain (and resulted in the tooth having to be pulled about three weeks later). The second one seemed to go fine. After she drilled the teeth out, she left the room while the filling material was being prepared and proceeded to have an anxiety-induced asthma attack, all the details of which I could hear, but I couldn't exactly get up out of the chair and leave since I had giant holes in my teeth along with exposed nerves. So when she came back, she filled my teeth, and when she took the ring off the second one, a bunch of silver amalgam went flying everywhere. That didn't seem quite right to me but at that point I just wanted to get the hell out of there. When I got home I noticed that I now have a giant gap between that tooth and the one behind it (she probably broke off a part of the filling when she yanked that ring out of my mouth). Food gets stuck in there all the time, and it was never an issue prior to the filling.
It was a terrible experience for me, especially since I'm scared of the dentist to begin with, and I will never go back to her. Maybe it was just a bad day, but like I said, if your profession involves extremely vulnerable patients and the potential for extreme pain, maybe you should just take a personal day when you're that worried about your kid's birthday party!
