Dr. Rasheed was my primary care physician for 5 years. A mediocre care provider at best, I continued with her mainly for location convenience. As a biochemist, I found myself arguing with her over best forms of treatment for me, unlike most doctors. It was almost like she was pushing certain drugs. The medication she kept pushing gave me more frequent chest colds and infections, unlike the one she refused to prescribe. She also demands office visits to renew re-occurring asthma medication I have been on for 20 years. So I have to see her multiple times a year without any added benefit.

The final straw - I had a kidney stone when the CAT scan found a mass on my spleen. I notified Rasheed to review the Providence ER scan and scheduled an appt. for follow up and an enhanced scan. She came unprepared and didn't know why I was there (but still had to pay for the visit). Said she would review the ER scan and get back to me for follow up. Four months later, and after my $2,000 deductible reset, she finally "got back to me," finally requesting a follow up enhanced scan for the mass. Without another $2k handy to toss at the tardy inquiry, I fired her instead and sought out a better "care" provider.

I love Dr. Rashid. She is the best! Both my husband and myself see her. She is always patient, kind and considerate. She takes her time & never makes you feel rushed. She listens intently & always has great advise. It is so refreshing to have someone who actually cares about you! I highly recommend using her.

This doctor's office is unusual in that it has only women doctors. And let's face it. Sometimes you just don't feel like having a man look at the places of your body where the sun never shines. Not only do you feel more comfortable here but Dr. Rashid is extremely knowledgable and has a way about her that helps you to relax. My daughter had to have a scary procedure done and it was just great the way Dr. Rashid helped her feel better about everything.
