Dr. Wiseman delivered my daughter 2 yrs ago. He saved my baby's life and saved me from pain. I bet he will never forget us.

In my experience Dr. Wiseman was satisfactory as a Dr. during my pregnancy. He was always nice and seemed easy going. I had no complications except that I went past my "due date". He wanted to induce right away and became increasingly frustrated with me when I refused even though I was fine and the non-stress tests indicated the baby was fine. After I finally agreed to be induced and went to the hospital to deliver my daughter he was not interested in discussing my options with me or their associated risks. He became red-faced, very confrontational, and started with the dead baby stories (had nothing to do with my situation). He made me feel as if I had no right to be a part of the decision making process and he was resentful of questions I had and for wanting to wait for my Doula to be present before starting the process. The whole confrontation left me feeling betrayed, scared, angry, frustrated, and violated... it was a downward sprial from there.

I don't think Dr. Wiseman is a bad person or even a "bad" doctor. I think that today most doctors in this area are used to giving orders as patients quietly submit. I was not looking to get in a battle, I just wanted to be involved in the most important day of my life. It is our RIGHT to give INFORMED CONSENT. I just wanted to be informed and then help decide what would be best for my situation.
