I went to Dr. Bledsoe, told her how ill I was and told her my PCP found major problems with tyroid labs. I showed her the labs had one short visit with her and she did not order any tests specific to my condition. I then got a second opinion and found I was near death and needed immediate surgery to survive. She do not investigate or listen. On contactng her office the made me feel I was malingering and ignored my complaints of getting more ill.
I spoke to her myslelf later by phone and it became apparent that the more I told her the less she cared of would listen. EXTREMELY
passive aggresive. Luckily after gettng the treatment I needed and a surgeon I am now healthy and alive, if I had listened to her and her ignoring my conditon and symptoms, I'd likely be dead by now.

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Bledsoe as she is very rushed, and while pretending to be friendly, didn't seem to have an honest interest in me or my goals. I felt like an object. If you're having problems with fertility, I think you need to find a doctor who really makes you feel at home and at ease, and who spends quality time with you. It's important that the process is as un-stressful as possible (knowing that some stress is unavoidable).

My wife's ob/gyn(Dr. Bushart) highly recommended Dr. Bledsoe for infertility. I was surprised to hear that because last year I reviewed all the infertility doctors in central Texas and I excluded her from our potential choice for infertility treatment. She was in the same clinic with our ob/gyn, ARC. We went ahead to see her giving her a chance. After several months of IUI treatment I grew frustrated because I felt she was taking the treatment wrong direction. When IUI failed month after month she could not tell why they failed nor diagnose any abnormalities that might be causing the infertility. Other than checking blood hormones she didn't do even the basic gynecology examination that any infertility doctors would go through to find common infertility causes. We gave up on her. We went to a real infertility specialist and now we have a wonderful 4 month old baby.
The reason I am writing this is that I was totally shocked this morning to find that she is not an OB/GYN, but an internist/endocrinologist. She might be able to help if you have hormone related infertility, but she is not for the common gynecology related infertility. I haven't seen any other doctor who is not an OB/GYN and yet practice as an infertility specialist. Most infertility doctors are board certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology. That's where you would start your treatment.

After I read honest reviews from other people ( not the 5 star fake reviews from her family) they reminded me of our terrible experience with her 2 years ago. My wife has seen her 6-7 times for a 4-5 month period. We went in for IUI. Right after the 1st visit I felt that she wasn't good at all listening to patients. She went right into IUI without trying to find the underlying causes of our infertility. Over the three attempts of IUI she focused too much on minor details about the procedure losing the big picture and missing real important issues. I would rate her 2-star on proficiency and 1-star on her personal qualities as a doctor.

Dr. Bledsoe is a wonderful physician, and I have had a great experience with her so far. I was experiencing severe symptoms of adrenal insufficiency, so I called her office and she was able to squeeze me in within a week! My friend went with me to my appointment and we were both very pleased. She was very personable and spent quite a bit of time with us. She listened through my entire medical history, which no other doctor has done. She is very detailed and thorough (Type A personality), which I find very helpful when dealing with an endocrine problem. She explained everything to us both so that we had a clear understanding. She is not the type to "sugar coat" things and she will say what needs to be said, but my friend and I both felt she was extremely professional, respectful, and caring. Not to mention, the office staff was incredible! They were very courteous, helpful, and very friendly. We waited about 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait! I have been to another endocrinologist in the past, but Dr. Bledsoe was an answered prayer, and I can confidently say I will be trusting her with my health for a long time to come!

I was recently referred to Dr. Bledsoe from my OB/GYN to treat my PCOS. I can honestly say that I have never been treated so terribly by a physician in my life. Dr. Bledsoe did not take any time to get to know me, what I wanted out of treatment, what I was experiencing with the symptoms of PCOS. When I asked questions about her treatment plan, she talked down to me and never fully answered my questions; stating "we don't do that anymore" without saying why. I actually started crying in her office because I was so overwhelmed with this diagnosis and the fear that I may not be able to have children. Instead of comforting me or reassuring me that this is a very common diagnosis and that most people who have it go on to have very normal pregnancies, she tells me that I need to get into therapy, shoves a pamphlet for a therapist in my hand and leaves the room. I will never be seeing this doctor again and will be informing my OB/GYN of the treatment I received in the hopes that they do not subject anyone else to her.

I was referred to Dr Bledsoe by my OB/GYN for fertility issues relating to PCOS in 2005 and thought she was great! I was never rushed at any of my appts, never waited long after getting checked in & she did a great job at helping me completely understand what was going on with my fertility issues & how exactly she was going to be able to help me. She was always very thorough & never too pushy...she always told me all of the different choices in treatment and didn't push 1 method over another so I always had the say in what I wanted done! She has a great personality too!
